Opioids Methadone and Klonopin

SWIM is prescribed .5mg of Klonopin every day and currently came across some dones(10mg) and was wondering how long SWIM should wait until taking the dones because of the kpins having a half life up to 50 hours(SWIM took only one .5 kpin yesterday)... SWIM has done much research on this and does not want to die or get sick(throw up) from this or fall asleep and die, as SWIM enjoys life... SWIM has done roxis(oxy 30mg's) but did not mix with kpins but this was months ago so SWIM doesnt have much of a tolerance for opiates... As stated above SWIM has done much research on this in people actually mixing dones and kpins at the same time and being fine but SWIM doesn't wish to do this... SWIM has very low tolerance with basically everything besides ritalin and kpins... Last thing, SWIM was wondering if taking this tomorrow morning after he wakes up so that he can stay awake during the day and if the kpins are still in SWIMs system that he will not fall asleep... looking for anyone with actual experience on this
 
I appreciate you being smart and not mixing the two downers. My friend died on the 21st mixing methadone and klonopin.

If you have a tolerance to kpin and take only .5 mg, skip that dose the day you take your methadone. It'll still be in your system, but nothing major and I doubt enough will be left to be of concern.

And when dosing methadone, wait at least 3 hours before redosing. It can take that long for the drug to peak. If you eat the methadone and decide 1.5 hours later you're not high enough and take more...then you may end up dead. Be very, very careful.

If you wanna be extra careful, let a full day pass between your last kpin dose and your methadone. (If you took kpin monday, maybe wait till Weds to take the methadone)

^GABAkings advice is pretty solid. I'm also very sorry to hear about your friend, I've almost taken it too far myself with this combination and I'm lucky to be alive.

Your tolerance is really low, so I would not take more than 10mg of the methadone at a time, and do NOT redose until you've waited at least three hours.
 
Thanks a lot guys for the feedback and honest opinions I was hoping I didn't get someone being like yeah fuck it its cool just do it so thanks again and the dude that SWIM bought this off of actually said it would be better to mix with the kpins, glad SWIM got a second opinion and he will wait till tomorrow just to be safe, he'll enjoy some Ritalin and watch some football today :)
 
^ Glad we could help you out, it was wise not to listen to a dealer. For future reference, we don't use SWIM here, that doesn't offer any sort of legal protection whatsoever.
 
benzos and methadone mixtures are now the number 1 drug related ER visits next to cocaine and its long list of combos, especially alcohol.

Ive been on 100-120 mgs of mdone for over 25 yrs-(until recently) - The last 15 or so, ive been prescribed klonopin. I always took as directed for anxiety (they,re the yellow 1 mg) and the combo worked fine-
Now oN pain mngt - and on a much lower dose of mdone, I dont take them as much. FoR whatever reason, on 100 they were fine- -but now , on 40 mgs- if I take 1 or 2 of them, I get way to sleepy-
