What are 'mints' + 'pokeballs' i see mentioned so much on the pills forums?

Futura, uncapped molly shows it's first effects in like 20-30 minutes... 45 minutes and I'm beginning to peak and an hour the roll is usually going full force... and I'm almost positive that everything I've taken has been the HCL salt form

I obviousley cant comment for others but when I used to take MDMA powder it was always one hour come up almost to the second. For pills they varied if they had speed in them within 15 mins you would feel it then the MDMA would kick in later.

In terms of salt type exact chemical etc I get the general impression the pills are more varied. I do agree the majority will be MDMA HCL but not all me feels.

So I still think that the mints just comes on very fast just due to the crumbly nature of the pills... not to mention I'm sure the 20 minute come up is a bit of an exaggeration... a pill that dissolved instantly when it hit the stomach would certainly have a faster come up and shorter roll than a pill that released it's dose slowly like the hard presses European pills... those things are rocks!

Its annoying I cant take pills anymore as there are many experiments I would like to do. But from memory when I crushed up pills I never felt any difference in come up speed. I think the main difference is in the chemistry. Mixing the crushed pill in a shot or with wine might also bring in another factor for come up speed.

we take old school pokeballs almost exclusively and have the same results as you--when dissolved in water first effects in 20-30 minutes, beginning to peak at 45 minute and into the peak at an hour.
 
As someone who used to ONLY chew their pills for a large period in time, I can say for sure that is has a significant effect on the speed at which you come up. When you bite a pill, you start to feel it in like 15 minutes... 30 your feeling good and by 45 minutes your usually full on rolling.


In fact, the last couple of times I've been just dropping the pills as is and I find myself waiting for another 15 minutes after I think I should be feeling it lol

Yeah, I think that's common for most people


We need to get a bunch of volunteers and set up some double blind studies.....

It wasnt an automatic assumption. Took weeks and weeks of debate on pills of 90s discussions for me to draw this conclusion.

Seriousley what else could it be? Why the quick, clean and short lived high? Its very different to defqon yet both GC/MS to be MDMA only?

The only other thing I can see as an option would be isomer, synth impurity, "inert" cut having an effect maybe lactose.

Otherwise I think the salt theory is very likely. All of its speculation but this is the one my moneys on.

A combination of brand loyalty, self-fulfilling prophecy, and as Folley said, the crumbly nature are probably much more likely answers.

Until there is solid lab verified evidence of chemical differences and a double-blind study of effects you could speculate from now until the end of time...

and Futura, I suspect you will do just that! ;)

And the fact that MDA has a different high to it compared to MDMA makes me think it was more akin to MDMA. To bad I only did an easy test on the capsules never brought one to a testing facility. Strangely I hated MDMA that hits like freight train and preffered the slower wavey variety but not the capsules which felt way to weird.

Also the different effects of MDA and MDMA would make it noticable on which your on and both have their uses they imo are not interchangeable. MDA taken as replacement for E would cause some bizar situations.

An rare incident was with capsules of so called high quality mdma which was produced by an connaisseur chemist. The effects were so wavey and psychedelic at first it reminded me of mushrooms.

Depending on where your from many would consider a tablet of MD** to be an E.
 
i guess thats the beauty of having this substance illegal...no punter knows what the fuck they are consuming...such a super sad society we live in.

you can go to a drive through at 18 and buy enough alcohol to kill no worries thats fine but woah no way are we legalising ganja or MDMA.

i wonder why that is? i would say profit, plenty of untaxed money to be made just the way things are. whos making all the profits, well id imagine you would need to fairly wealthy in the first instance to set up an operation...go figure the rich get richer (healthier and live longer) while the poor get taxed, fined, locked up and basically just abused...look how far we have come...progress people we are all about the progress :!

Not to call you out on this or anything. Ok change of plans. Babe it's ok to let your BL friends and enemies ( numerous) know that you only drink classy lower white class white zin out of a box. Was this the wine you will try next time.

you are right got myself in a seamenless discussion as they were only easy tested. So could be any MDxx compond. But I would never describe an MDMA come up like that capsule did or molly as it is reffered to. But it started as a growing wave like mushrooms and was psychedelic like mushrooms and thats were the resemblance stopped. So I got anxious like on shrooms and thought what if its synthetic psilocybin. But that never happened after peak of the wave it slowly went down and came back up. Never got in that MDA headspace and there were no OEV like one would have. But it was side effect free and very little desire to redose compared to pills that felt hmm but were tested for MDMA only. But like I wrote could be set and setting.

MDA is sold as E rarely, had it once or twice unknowingly, but they effect although very cool are not like MDMA. To name a few OEV and less loved up everyone is so nice.
 
Personally - I have trouble with A LOT of the abbreviations or nicknames/street names. I see some of them and wonder - WHAT in the world are they talking about. So I get the abbreviation or nickname and madly google it and find out what the substance is. Then I come back to the thread and find another one that I don't understand and then I madly google the new one to find out what THAT means. It isn't all that bad though. I am learning a lot about all this stuff from this site and other sites.

Its a heavily debated topic on here Karen but the definition of E often comes into question. Some say its MDMA, some say its MD** analogs, some say its a rave pill and anything goes.

Its a slang term so there is no true defenition. Best thing is if your discussing a particular drug just use its official chemical name or abrevehation.
