Reducing Harm with general drug use?

I've been doing a lot of research into how to make prescription dosed amphetamine use (especially with Vyvase -- lisdextroamphetamine) less dangerous. My friend has begun giving me his 60mg Vyvanse almost every school day this year since it started at the end of August, which is more than I did last year (about every Monday starting in May or so, and then just Adderall once over the summer). Although this is his prescribed dosage I'm still sure it's incredibly unhealthy in the long run if we keep this up all year (I doubled up once and even with a decent tolerance it still was too overpowering to enjoy the motivational and focus that I enjoy the drug for). Already I've already noticed relatively strong comedowns on Saturdays, especially if I'm already in a bad mood. But I digress, basically (it's the speed making me more interested and concerned about of the dangers of drug use) I want to make my overall drug-using lifestyle less damaging.

I'm trying to get my hands on some Tyrison supplements to help with comedowns and I am sure to avoid bruxism and meth-mouth (drinking water throughout the day/chewing gum) and when I do get bad bruxism (not too often) I chew on my lip or nibble my tongue if no one wants to donate some sugar free gum (accidentally, I very rarely grind teeth, but damn my tongue doesn't appreciate it the next day). I've gotten better at forcing myself to eat while I'm on it. Also when I'm speeding too hard to sleep sometimes I'll use diphenhydramine (Benadryl), I'm aware it's unhealthy but it's also the most effective antihistamine for me.

If anyone is familiar with harm reduction with any of these other drugs (or amphetamines) and their side effects please give me some advice, I'd rather not take another harmful psychoactive drug to combat one's side affects (such as benzo's to help fight amp-induced insomnia), however vitamin supplements (such as Tyrison with amps) would be okay with me. These are the drugs I'm interested in knowing about general harm reduction (with specific annoying side effects and/or how often I use them following the name, not necessarily the only thing I'm worried about)...

Alcohol: one side affect that has been bothering me for a while has been diarrhea when I'm hungover --I have a weak stomach as it is but I like getting drunk so fuck it. I usually am sure to bring pepto-bismol to a party if I'm staying the night but it's quite annoying. Booze only has made me puke once and that's probably from eating cheese its the whole time and smoking menthols -- I'd often puke once right after a drag -- instead my upset stomach usually goes the other way and I get loose stool. Any advice on how to prevent

Cigarettes: I smoke before the bus and then usually chain smoke two to four before my parents get home, at parties, concerts, fairs, ect. I have a tendency to not watch how much I smoke and can go through a pack in 24-48 hours. I've been thinking about quitting before I get too addicted but you know how that works...

Weed: I used to get mad paranoid or introverted when I'm uncomfortable but I've gotten better, any advice about when it does hit me though?

Psychedelics: I've done mushies once and Foxy Methoxy that was in the only E pills I've done but I've been trying to get some acid, shrooms, or Morning Glory seeds recently

Painkillers: I did a lot a couple years back but I do them very rarely now

Sorry if I over-explained some things, it's the Vyvanse. I've been thinking of cutting back on a few of these as I'm learning more and more about the dangers plus a possible straight-edge girlfriend in my future but I'd appreciate advice other than "don't do it". Thanks for anything you can throw at me!

Also tonight I did some research into other supplements that correspond with amphetamine use and am a little interested in NMDA antagonists such as magnesium --best in chelated form-- (as well as DXM, Ketamine, and other, less psychoactive, drugs - k and robo block the channel entirely while the other ones, including magnesium, only partially block it). Based on pharmacology NMDA antagonist should theoretically and anecdotally help put a cap on tolerance increase, but I haven't found any "real" studies done on these drugs' affects on amp tolerance. In some, longer-term anecdotes, NMDA antagonist usage reduced tolerance to nearly nothing at all. Also, pharmacologically it should also help with fighting neurotoxicity caused by amphetamines. Has anyone had any experience or knowledge about NMDA antagonists with amphetamines?

There is a lot of vitamins that will help you named a couple. A good b-complex will help and eat some fatty foods early in the morning if you know your gonna be on any stimulant (extra bacon something with plenty of carbs or sugars) your body will use these up instead of things that are Allready stored up for proper use. And the only one thing I picked outta your post that I would suggest you don't do until your no longer at your parents and you've got a few years behind you And that's trying drugs like ketamine. I've got good buddy's that have just did a few of these phyc drugs a few times and it really messed up two of them like forever messed up. The pharmacy style drugs I got no way I'd gripe about those cause I'm addicted to em myself but shit like ketamine man is just no good

I've done a mild dose of ketamine and it wasn't k-hole strong -- it was kind of like an opiate/stimulant/psychedelic cross. It was incredibly euphoric and I was just alone in my house dancing to music with my cat and staring at the visualizer on my Xbox playing Crystal Castles. But I wasn't planning on using either Special K or DXM (Robitussin) as a way to block amphetamine tolerance, it's just that the way those drugs affect the body is directly related to developing amphetamine tolerance. If I had K I wouldn't wanna use it to decrease my tolerance, the ketamine itself would probably offset the stimulation I got from reducing the tolerance. But, I've heard some pretty nasty stories about it too.

I'm trying to get my hands on some Tyrison supplements to help with comedowns
What is Tyrison? Do you mean tyrosine?

Vyvanse/Amphetamines: Take less! :) And don't take it every day. Take vitamins, keep well-nourished and well-hydrated, including making sure to replenish your electrolytes (drink coconut water or more natural versions of Gatorade etc, eat bananas). Make sure you get enough sleep, don't take it in the evening. Another thing you can do to take care of your mouth and teeth is to use Biotene oral hygiene products, which help keep the mouth moist. There are a number of supplements you can take to help with the comedowns, I'm sure there are many threads on here already on that topic but feel free to let me know if you need help finding them. Take magnesium to help with tolerance.

Alcohol: Alcohol is very dehydrating and that is probably what causes your diarrhea (I know it sounds weird but not getting enough fluids causes diarrhea). So make sure you drink lots of water. Again, electrolytes or isotonics are important. Mixing different kinds of alcoholic drinks in one night or drinking sugary drinks affects me poorly. Again, most of the same stuff as above applies - try not to drink too frequently and make sure you get food and sleep. The next day, drink water and/or juice etc, eat something healthy and get outside - I know I don't tend to feel like doing those things when hungover but they really do help.

Cigarettes: Try to reduce your smoking and be more mindful of how much you are smoking. For example, one thing I find helps is only taking a limited number of cigarettes with me so I know I have to ration them so I won't run out too soon. You might also want to look into e-cigarettes which are way healthier. Also make sure you keep your mouth moist, have good dental hygiene and drink lots of water as smoking can be drying too.

Weed: For paranoia you can try to remind yourself that it is just being caused by the weed and try meditation techniques like mindfulness (accepting the though but looking at it in a detached way and letting it go), focusing on your breathing, etc. There is probably more info in the Cannabis Discussion forum.

Psychedelics: I find set and setting important for psychedelics. Again, there is a lot of info on specific ones in the Psychedelic Drugs forum.

Painkillers: I would stay away from any opioid painkillers, they are really not worth the risks of addiction, physical dependence or overdose.

Other tips: Be very careful about mixing drugs. Many overdoses and adverse reactions are caused by mixing drugs (including alcohol).
