Opioids mixing tramadol, and codeine promethazine syrup.

As people have repeatedly said no one can tell you what to do especially without knowing the potency of what you have or if it is even really what it is labeled as. The best bet would be to see if you can find a picture of a promethazine/codeine bottle that is produced by the same manufacturer that produced yours. There are probably multiple kinds so it can not be one that just looks kind of like the bottle, but exactly like it without a single difference. As everyone said it is not a good idea to guess as if you guess wrong it could be the death of you and that is no exaggeration.

As far as Tramadol I don't think it is a really safe medication to take in high doses and not because of the opiate binding effect it has. I also personally just had bad issues with it taken alone in doses of 50-100 mg. As well as combining it with 25i-NBOME caused me issues, but nothing life threatening. IMO Tramadol is not an enjoyable or really effective drug for pain managment... Hell I think it would be a better anti-depressant if it did not have a dependency risk.

Edit: I will also make this clear rather than a message in between the lines. No one will tell you if a sip is safe because a sip is not a measurement. A tablespoon or teaspoon or any fraction of that would be a proper measurement as well as ml or fl oz.

Dude, as far as harm reduction goes, since the bottle has no information with regards to concentrations of the ingredients, do not take it.

I am also not sure how prometh mixes with Tramadol, could be dangerous, BUT I for one can say that mixing Tramadol and Codeine was one of the best experiences I have ever had.

I was once prescribed Tramadol, and was taking a good dose, just as it kicked in I would take Codeine. It was one of the best experiences I had ever had...it was just so cozy and euphorically far away from reality. The next day I could not really remember what I did, when if I just used Codeine or Tramadol by itself, I would remember everything like I was sober...it was really great.
 
4 oz seems a bit... Does your buddies bottle have markings? Do you also know if he has an opiate tollerance? I definitely recommend starting low and moving up... Maybe even just a few ml to start to test the water. 30 ml is one oz. Again it is better to be safe rather than sorry because you can make a mistake that could end up leaving you unable to actually have the ability to consciously be sorry for it or anything anymore.
 
^ I never understood people having memory black outs on opiates... they strengthen memory formations in my case.

Was the codeine possibly mixed with promethazine or any other antihistamine (most 1st gen ones, anticholinergenics) that causes cognitive impairment? Tramadol is anticholinergenic, especially in high (200mg+) doses.

Agreed. I would never drink more than 1oz of lean... promethazine is some nasty shit, especially at high doses. It acts like a traditional antipsychotic and there have been reports of it causing delirium and hallucinations at very high doses.

If you need more than 1oz of lean to feel an opiate effect, just drop in a Norco or Vicodin or something... even a CWE'd Tylenol 3 or 4.

Yeah man, like I stated, if the Codeine or even the Tramadol was taken on it's own, I would remember what I got up to, but when I mixed these two I could not remember crap. I watched that train movie with John Travolta (forgot it's name lol), and could not remember ANYTHING about the movie the next day. All I know is that I REALLY enjoyed the high. I dosed on 200mg of Tramadol (anything above I hear is seizure territory?) with about 400mg of Codeine CWE after the Trams kicked in. I did this for like a week straight until the Trams finished (and basically both enjoyed but lost the week).
 
Where you just nodding so hard you did not watch the movie? That is a bit different from not remembering what happened.
