Long-term CEVs from LSA/LSD/Mushie use?

Ever since I experimented quite heavily with these psychedelics, even after a whole two years without taking any of them I STILL get vivid CEVs. These are usually intricate patterns, fractals, beautiful scenes, cartoons, etc. I'm not complaining, I love them. For example: everytime I go to bed and just before sleep I can watch whole movies on the back of my eyelids. I asked my psychiatrist about it and she said she knows of other people who have experienced the same, apparantly once your mind has "opened" to seeing such patterns then it never forgets them.

Anyone else have this??
 
2 years after taking a psychedelic and you still get fractal patterning behind your eyelids?? that's pretty intense.

When I did a high dose of LSA I had CEV that were just blobs of dull color for a week or two afterwards, since then I've never had a lasting psychedelic effect from drug use and I've had some pretty mindblowing trips.

sometimes when I'm uber stoned and tired and I lay down to go to sleep I manage to start dreaming while i'm still awake which can get pretty vivid at times but I never had 'whole movies.'

sometimes when i'm high I also do get a slight 'waviness' similar to LSD when I look at something but it happens for like 5 seconds tops.
 
I've noticed the persistent CEVs too. Or rather, it isn't even as if they're persisting CEVs from my trips, but rather my mind's eye has a lot more clarity now and I can form pictures and CEVs with greater detail at will - or subconsciously without my own control. I don't tend to really get psychedelic style colourful fractal CEVs, but mostly scenes, both cartoon and realistic, that I never saw in the past.

Prior to psychedelic use I just saw swirling colours as the blood flows through my eyes when I closed them.
 
You wouldn't happen to be very near-sighted would you? Apparently people with poor vision can get visual noise similar to CEVs without being on anything. The first few times I tried psychedelics I would close my eyes and see patterns that I normally saw and though that I just wasn't getting visuals until of course I opened my eyes and stared at a wall and saw it swirling around and melting.

I can get this (or something very similar) when relaxed in the most comfortable place usually at night . I think it is related to peace, and tranquility, and the previous trips could have helped allow this to occur in the future.

btw, are these visual effects just as vivid as when you peaked tripping? I don't get that effect or I mean :sus:

I know I am.. I'm not sure though because previously (prior to psychedelics, but when I was still near-sighted) when I closed my eyes I would see swirling alternating colours but nothing else really. Now I can often see detailed scenes and art similar to on my psychedelic trips - only not quite as bright and vivid as when I'm tripping, but certainly 1000x more clear than my minds eye used to be.
 
I would like to pose a few questions to those who experience long lasting CEVs. Are the visuals the same as when you are under the influence of a psychoactive substance? In what ways are they different? More or less controllable? Intensified by consuming alcohol, marijuana or other substance?
 
After my heavy usage of LSD i began experiencing this whenever I smoked bud I could close my eyes and get mild CEV increasing with increased quantity consumed.

Over my dabbling with various other hallucinogenic substances, the CEVs have become more complex and vivid. I don't really know what to make of them, but they only occur when I zone out heavily and then close my eyes, which I do on occasion to see the changes in them. They're harmless, but they persist to this day.
 
I have been able to see people's auras since I was a kid, but now after high doses of LSD I can see fractal patterns and sacred geometry in certain people's auras. I haven't been able to figure out why some people have the patterns and others don't, even in the same environment. I've considered that maybe it's something about the person that makes their aura different because auras themselves are that way, but I admit it's impossible to know for sure.

I don't find CEVs disturbing. They add magic to my life, and most of the time they are very minimal.

As enjoyable as lsd is i had hppd and vivid visuals that lasted 6 months. They werent disturbing at all to me either.
I see auras too and different colors. No idea what they mean. One of my friends who has tourettes syndromes aura would glow and shimmer. He's a great dude, one of gods children.
Also when people are talking about spirituality their auras brighten. Plus when someone is talking in a group setting or with a lot of peoples attention focused on them I see them like 5 feet off the person shimmering. I haven't met anyone else who sees auras since i started seeing them. Getting clean and regaining my spirituality and soul back is when it happened :)

A lot of people want to do it or think they can do it, but people who actually do are rare. A lot of people have the latent ability though.

Everything you describe I've seen. What's up with so many "disabled" people having bright auras?

They're gods children man. I wasn't really going to go into it but behind the dude who had tourettes i actually saw, hell this is where i wonder if I'm crazy, one time i saw a figure of 2 angels outlined with his aura. I question the existence of angels and my christian faith. Like i said this only happens when im clean and of sane mind. I wasn't high and thats what i saw. Gods children. Thats my conclusion.

I have noticed some CEV's are bit more since i dabbled with LSD, may have been there before but i didnt notice, not too sure.

An interesting thing to note is some people experience that without having ever done psychedelics, it was mentioned in the book "Peter Pan".

Chapter 8 THE MERMAIDS' LAGOON

If you shut your eyes and are a lucky one, you may see at times a shapeless pool of lovely pale colours suspended in the darkness; then if you squeeze your eyes tighter, the pool begins to take shape, and the colours become so vivid that with another squeeze they must go on fire. But just before they go on fire you see the lagoon. This is the nearest you ever get to it on the mainland, just one heavenly moment; if there could be two moments you might see the surf and hear the mermaids singing.
 
Also on the aura tip i can see them with my eye's closed oddly enough. Like i said though it only happens when i am cllean and abstaining from hard drugs
