should i try heroin

Don't try herion, are you friken crazy? Most people get hooked on H because they had a ox habit, can afford it and got no choice... but to choose to do herion when you have no addiction to OP's is friken crazy and if you do it bro your going to get hooked and you will deserve it because you asked here and we all told you don't try it..

Its not worth it whatever you do don't do it please from my heart man, its a horrible drug to get addicted to and it will suck the life out of your soul

Im glad you didnt do it, also i cant believe no one mentioned that its not good to combine opiates and alcohol.Your first time could have been your last, depending on how much alcohol you had in your system.

My suggestion is dont do it. From a legal standpoint any amount of H is a felony charge, weed is a misdemeanor for the most part. You dont get dopesick if you dont smoke for a day, its less expensive, virtually no overdose risk with weed, and you dont deal with "the game" that comes with the territory of H. I cant say you will become a junkie, but most of us did and are now.

Well IMO we are somehow "demonizing" the substance. Heroin won't get you hooked because you tried it once, or even more. It's about what YOU do with it. Of course the general response its to tell "don't try it, it fucks you up" but that's not the true...you fuck you up yourself by making bad decisions..that take you to develop an addiction added to a high tolerance. I have never tried heroin and i won't simply cuz i hate to puke, fuck puking man i can't ever stand booze because of that.

But, by the context you are posting this question, i would tell you not to try it. You can't rely on a drug (specially one that carry greater risks) because you can't do anything else, if you don't have weed, then you don't have weed and go do something else.

It sounds as though if you hadn't found solace in alcohol and marijuana, though, you would very likely had given in to the temptation to try something "novel" and "satisfying."

Ou may want to examine the reasons more deeply underlying this. For there will come a day when you cannot, for whatever reason, obtain cannabis and will instead get dunk. And after getting drunk, the idea of trying heroin will creep back into your mind. And this time, you may find yourself defenseless against the idea, and wind up making one of the worst decisions of your life.

What I'm driving at here is that the reasons behind using mind-altering chemicals at all - likely escapism, mixed with other things - are well and likely to end up damaging you beyond repair. My pattern of drug use prior to becoming highly involved with very addictive drugs, as well as an undeniable escalation in my use of alcohol, followed a remarkably similar behavioral course. If I can in any way even slightly derail that train from ever reaching its final destination, I want to make that effort.

After all, in TDS, one often isn't posing a drug-related question to a pool of casual, successfully-using group of individuals. For example, when I read your post, your words were being read and interpreted through the eyes of someone who has experienced a world of avoidable pain and turmoil due to these types of drugs and their deleterious effects on cognition and emotion.

Be careful, and be well.

man bro, idk about that. My litl brother got hooked on that in the devils den and it took him every ounce of strength and leaving where he lived to stop that stuff. I have never tried it but I have tried meth and it's still the same hole you get suck into. You maybe lucky and dodge a bullet but man, I would say na don't try it. to much is a stake.

Don't use heroin. I'm glad you didn't but I think it's something that it's best for most people to stay away from. I have seen how easily it takes control of people's lives but cocaine and meth also do this.

I have never used heroin or meth; but in the past when I was depressed or sad I wanted to and I am glad I did not.

I had used other drugs even opiates but I did not get addicted to them but my friends who are/were addicted to heroin said how it's highly addictive and not something you can really use "recreationally" like other drugs like herb or booze. Some of my friends who were at one time using heroin said how it's a strong opiate drug and nothing really special, how it lasts a long time, and how it's very easy to get addicted chase that first high/experience and become an addict to it.

I am SO glad to see that you decided not to do it. You made the right decision man. Heroin addiction is an ugly path to go down. Once you cross that line, it's a whole different game. That shit consumes your life. You do NOT want to live day to day just trying to figure out a way to get well. Not many people can try heroin and not get addicted. And if they do, it's because it makes them so sick the first time that they never want to touch the shit again.

I remember my first time doing heroin after a period of abstinence from all opiates, including Suboxone and painkillers. I had been sober for a few weeks (this was right after my first rehab). I did half of the SMALLEST dose I would normally do, just because I knew my tolerance would be so low... I mean, it was literally like a matchhead size piece... and even that was almost too much. I thought I was going to puke. That's another thing with heroin, you just never REALLY know how much is the "right" amount. It's dangerous shit to play around with on your own if you have no tolerance and don't know EXACTLY what you're doing.

Like everyone else said, keep making the right decisions, stick to herb... you'll be alright. You seem like a smart person. :)

in my experience usually people who dont know the drug well say its not that bad. taking it once or twice wont reveal the downsides. after a year or so those can be overwhelming, even if you stick to your "consumer rules". theres always a strong tendency to fuck something up, which makes things worse. doesnt need to be addiction, can be a shitload of other things that go wrong. sure. if its your goal not to get addicted its possible it wont happen but that makes it just more likely that other shit will drag you down youre not focussing on. i think its dangerous to say "its just your fault, not the drugs", because i have yet to come across a drug which drags you down in such a sneaky and powerful way.

and btw, switching weed for heroin.. i think you realize how retarded that sounds. often good pot floors me alot better than bad street smack. another reason why dope sucks. not worth the risk at all.

It's a hell of an experience, but mostly negative unfortunately. I, too, was like you - I've experimented with pretty much every drug under the sun and never became addicted to any of them. And then I got into heroin and obviously, that changed.

Good choice you made.

thanks shroom and pissangel i realize i was thinking irrationally i gotta get myself out of that mindset next time. sometimes when im down i think about doing some stupid drugs but most of the time i dont carry out with it. im glad i posted on here and had some ppl bring me back to reality.

what about opiates in general ive never had enough to get high. just small amounts of codeine and vicodin when i was sick. was wondering if it would be fun one time to get blown up on some percs or something.
