I'm supposed to start testosterone replacement therapy tomorrow, but was just curious if anyone might be able to tell me what age category my testosterone level falls in, in terms of mean testosterone levels by age?

I'm not sure how much of it is protein/non-protein binding, but my total level was 187. I'm 20 years old so this is obviously considerably old considering I'm not fully matured yet. If anyone with experience in this subject could offer input, it would be greatly appreciated...

Ya, but she couldn't really answer it...

In that case, could a mod please move this question?

It's hard to say. That amount could be normal for someone you age if you take into account you diet and how physically active you are, the time of day, time of year, and your mood.

At 20 you shouldn't be worrying about that because you aren't fully matured yet and introducing something like Androgel could make things worse. Most people who have low testosterone THINK they have it but it's actually some other underlying cause like lack of exercise, depression, or improper diet.

Like Guido said, activity and diet are a big impact on test levels.

Hope TRT gets you feeling awesome.

Went to the urologist the other day. He administered a 400mg testosterone deposit (I went with the IM depo's for most effectiveness and cheapness)...and holy shit...I feel like I'm 13 again...NRB's all the time lmfao...go back in 3 weeks...

I am pretty inactive and my diet (except for the past couple days) has consisted of less than 1000 calories a day because of my god-awfully slow metabolism (and inactivity due to disability)...

I've been having issues with fatigue, inexistent libido, and sexual dysfunction (albeit, I'm having something similar to varicocele; so I don't know if that has anything to do with it), so he went ahead and gave me the injection...

Yeah I was much like you before I started getting more active. No sex drive. Low test. Not fun.
