What are you drinking? - "Someone is bringing you ice?"

From what I can work out goon is basically the cheapest shittest box wine you can possibly buy.

I'm currently drinking one of these:

Probably one of my favourites at the moment.

It's funny you mention that, last week a friend of mine who's currently enslaved by drunken racist bogans in a avocado plantation in Queensland told me I should drink goon as it's cheaper than beer, he's French so I thought that was him taking the piss. So this goon thing actually exists. I only got here in Australia last week so I'm not yet acquainted with all these things. I was trying to find the equivalent of White Lightning but with no luck. Thanks for the tip.

No seriously my friend ended up in some remote area, they tried to take his passport off him, told him he's not allowed off the property except on sundays so he can go to Church, he says they are crazy religious and walk around with rifles, also I think he's paid shit, like he gets in a month what here in Melbourne you get in a week washing dishes. He went there cause some people in a hostel told him it was nice and the pay was good, lol, he got trolled good. Now' he's stuck there for the next two months or else he won't get a visa renewal. I'm definately not doing any farm work, fuck that I'd rather be deported back to pasta land.

Yeah I know I don't really see the appeal unless you end up in a weed farm with tons of hot Scandinavian backpackers. Why go all the way to Oz to pick fruit and live in a caravan like a pikey, for hit money too, when you can just join the Polish armada back home.

I never fancied the fruit picking shit, sounds rotten to me too. I wouldn't go it here so why the fuck would I go to the other side of the world to be stuck in bogan country, picking fruit in soaring temperatures with all sorts of poisonous snakes and spiders cutting about trying to attack me and needing to sleep in a caravan on a farmers field. People I met out there who did it had mixed feelings, some said it was hard but a great experience and others said it was awful and couldn't stand it. Lot of people only lasted a few days.

Goon is cheap wine made from the shitty small, manky, grapes that aren't good enough for the proper wine. Can get red, white or rose. Fruity Lexia is the only drinkable one and even that's bad. It's cheap, comes in big multi litre boxes, but contains 'fish, milk, nuts & eggs'....you work that one out. :sus:

I think all wine does. Or at least contains some of those things that you definitely wouldn't expect to find in wine. My mate's bird was trawling round shops one day looking for vegetarian wine, which I thought was fucking hilarious as obviously all wine is vegetarian - Turns out it's not.
 
drinking coffee, about to start on the ribena, no booze till later as got to drive the boy to taekwondo.

Westons in the fridge though, and a bottle of gin, and tonic in the fridge %)
 
having my first drink of cyder in almost 25years, cracked open a btl of Aspall draught suffolk cyder, and must say it's pretty good.
