Cocaine Comedown Lasting Effects

Hi everyone,

I wasn't completely sure on where to post this thread, so if it is in the wrong spot mods please move it, thanks.


My friend has been using a decent amount of cocaine lately. In the past month she's probably gone through close to a 14gs. However she's been off it for 4 days now and has had a very painful and lasting headache. Also accompanied by extreme nausea. Is this normal? Is it part of a long comedown?

Has anyone else experienced this before?

She's getting worried and keeps asking me if she's going to die. So I told her I'd make a post for her on BL.

So please, any information would be greatly appreciated.

Almost certainly not going to die. You abuse any drug for a while, you're gonna have some side effects from it, especially ones as impure and with so many horrible cuts as cocaine.

nobody here can tell her if she's going to die. she's probably dehydrated, she should hydrate.

I also told her it's probably just from using too much. She has been keeping hydrated she told me.

Hydration, nutrition, rest. Other than that it just takes some time. It's highly unlikely she is going to die from a come-down; however, as ali said, we can't tell you over the internet if someone is okay or not so if she is worried for any reason then seek medical help.

Come-downs can be pretty brutal. In addition to the above I find making myself comfy with cushions and blankets, chilling with a film/TV series and sex all help me to feel a little better. Best wishes to your friend!

Most coke is being cut at source now anyway, and the difference between 'good' and 'bad' stuff is usually the difference between 5% purity and 25% purity. Doesn't really change anything unless you personally extract it.

Uh, ya. A "friend" got some powder tonight. He started with a good size rail, about 1/4" wide and 1 1/2" long. It hit like rocket fuel, and almost immediately started getting a mild headache the same side of his head as the nostril it went up. Didn't get a terrible amount of numbing wich he usually associates with lidocain cut, so assumed it was pretty decent stuff. But still, the headache? WTF
