I see that the last Hip Hop thread has done it's 1000 posts so i thought i would start a new one . This time rather than just Hip Hop i thought we could include Graff , breaking & all the other elements of Hip Hop .

Westwood is a bit of a dick but he plays some fucking ace beats.

I *think* he's quite well respected amongst the hiphop community, but I might only think this cos he says it.

He plays utter shite now because he's tied to Radio 1 playlists. In the past he's had pretty much every big name in hip hop in his studio, he must have been doing something right. That doesn't excuse his stupid fake voice right enough.

ahh, I haven't listened to his show for a good few years, i remember mid-late 90's we used to listen to his show sometimes, wasn't our sort of music really, but he did it good, and always seemed to know what was going on at the time music wise, he used to be followed by Chrissy goldfinger's Dancehall show, also fucking brilliant.....
 
Whatever happened to Goldfinger? I think he got sacked while Westwood was still on quite late, I seem to remember some really shite hard-dance show coming on after Westwood sometimes when we were expecting Goldfinger.

Used to be standard Friday night material. Drive about in my mate's car getting a heavy smoke with Westwood blaring lol. Because of that I'll always have a little bit of love for Westwood. I imagine anyone that first heard him more recently will hate him though.
 
Anyone seen this JoJo, Chief Keef, Lil Reese shit in Chicago? Wild. JoJo posts a video of himself shouting abuse at Lil Reese from a car. In it Lil Reese shouts "I'm gonna kill you", about 8 hours later JoJo gets shot (apparently 17 times) & killed. Folk on Twitter basically grassing themselves. Chief Keef on Twitter laughing about it. All of them under 18.
