goodmorning fellow opiate heads haha. Today I'm going to both try something new. Well rehash an old method. So I am big on oxy and vicoden. I'm a snorter. I have not taken orally in maybe two years. My tollerence (while snorting) is 50mg. For both oxy and hydrocoden.

I currently have 3 and 1/2 oxys (35mg) and a crap load of vicoden. My question is should I still take 50mg? (35 oxy + 15 vics) or do I need more?
 
Well oxy is more potent than vicodin so 50mg oxy =/ 50mg vicodin but to stay on the safe side I'd recommend you start with 50mg and work your way up from there if it's not enough. You don't wanna accidentally take too much.
 
Yeah, I'm trying to stop snorting, its killing my stoache, witch is weird because I've never had that issue before.
 
Your snorting percocets and vicodin? wtf? Dude vicodin and percs are HUGE. Thats so much powder/APAP. Eat them! save your nose for the roxis!!!!
 
I'm amazed you can get that many pills up your nose in one sitting. I would start with your normal amount and see how it goes. As far as oxycodone goes, its bioavailability is higher orally. Hydrocodone also has a slightly higher oral bioavailability than nasaly.

Do you think you manage to get all the powder from that quantity of oxy's and Vic's without loosing some? You must have yourself a powerful snorted on you. Like an ant eater :)

Being an experinced Oxy user, I used to take the little blue 30mg instant release oxycodone, oral bioavailability of oxycodone is higher than intranasal: there are alot of refernce sites that point this out, many people still snort just for ritual, but its darn near 100% bioavailability oral....thats a wonderful thing about oxy's...that and they feel GREAT!!

I know many people who insist on snorting oxys rather than taking it orally. This I don't understand. Would effects be felt quicker via nasal administration than orally? Even if the onset is quicker, it cant be very significant.
 
The onset is quicker, but the intial rush is actually better orally. The exception, which I have not done, but seen done a bunch of times is injected, this provides incredible rush im told. But for me, orally is just fine, great rush, and longer duration, although im told injecting, you can make one pill last quite a while. Snorting is kinda a waste of the drug IMO.
 
You probably don't need anymore. Also, echoing what Pagey said, hydrocodone and oxycodone are not equipotent.

Also, please don't snort Vicodin. You're just snorting APAP (Tylenol). If you're using those high of doses I recommend doing a CWE.
 
CWE is a must if using vicodin. Its to fast and easy not to use it, and saves lives. Oxy's the point is moot. just swallow and enjoy. No need to mix the two unless you are going to use hydros to ween off oxy's
 
I started snorting xanax and pure oxy which got me addicited to snorting. I can snort multiple pills without any lose at all. I break the pillin half, snort the half. Snort a tab bit of water to fluch, and repeat. Takes a bit of time but works well non the less
 
Alprazolam is not soluble in water, when crushed in water it will not fully dissolve (40 µg/ml of H2O at pH 7).
It has an 80% bioavailability taken orally, you lose half that snorting, down to 40% because it is not water soluble. Best ROA (besides anal) which I dont do or advocate, is crushing to powder and putting in a small amount of water and drinking, still oral, but onset is faster due to pre-pill breakdown.
Again, there are great drugs for snorting, Xanax and oxy are not, you are wasting at least half of the effects. Several citations, too many to list, start with http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alprazolam
