No I think you’re forgetting something very obvious, which is that solid ibu/para particles that makes it through the filter will of course add to the cloudiness. Of course this all comes down to filter and methof filtration used.
“If you'll look at the numbers regarding para/ibu solubility you'll realize that all but the laziest of CWE's will give you close to the recommended dose of those drugs. As long as you use cool water and filter properly, it's no more dangerous than popping the recommended dose of panadeine/nurofen +.”
Yes, I know this is true. I did a CWE every day for quite a while before and I know that it works to filter most of the ibu/para out. But by your own admission it does not get anything close to all of the ibu/para out. By your own admission a lot of people are regular consuming at least the recommended daily dose of ibu/para mixed in with their CWE codeine. Not even the big pharma corps that cook the ibu/para are game enough to suggest either of these drugs can be taken at the recommended dose for longer than a few days. There is no pharmacological literature that I am aware of anywhere that tries to say that ibu or para are not significantly toxic when taken daily in the long term but every document I have read touches on the significant toxicity of these drugs. I have actually read a lot on this because I have had to study two semesters worth of tertiary level pharmacology so far.
I can't really agree that "even the most lazy" CWE dosers are only risking the recommended dose. I see no posted reason that state why it's not reasonable to assume this procedure is quite easy to get wrong and at times there have been sub par methods posted and even widely endorsed in this thread. So what's wrong with saying so?

Thank you for basically proving my point for me, infact you did it a lot better than I could have. I find your attitude disturbing.
You have posted to BL complaining about hearing obvious, rational, coherent, factual reasons for why long term daily CWE is unavoidably hazardous to health. I am sorry you find differing opinions unpalatable but I sincerely think you are dead wrong.
Believe it or not, I am not posting to BL because I like arguing or trolling or whatever. I read this thread as it develops and am struck at times by the lack of balance in the way some obvious dangers are talked about. I really do worry (not so much about the long term users who post here but more about the teenage kids reading this, who don’t post but read this thread intently looking (perhaps subconsciously) for “permission” or “a reason not to worry” about the toxicity of a daily CWE. Their just kids, they are still growing and they really need their gut and liver and kidneys. They need their digestive system to be intact so they can make the most of the food that they eat during their formative years.
I suppose we could talk/argue about degrees of "safety" but as it stands, there is no such thing as a safe CWE when it is used in the long term and making a mistake with a paracetamol CWE could easily be lethal. It's also very easy to make a mistake with this, especially for the kind of teenager I used to be.
