I have a few problems with this song, all of them are Skrillex. Since this is NEMD, I won't rate it because I have no idea what constitutes "good" "dubstep".

The Roots - "Datskat"

The point of sharing wasn't to show dubstep. The song is part of a documentary where they take different genres of music and mix them to make a new sound. The songs don't belong to a particular genre but rather of a mix of them(ie: rap/classical, jazz/alternative..). The Doors collaborated for that song and provided the instrumental and vocal clips.

Never heard this Girl Before so i'ma be open minded.

It's the sort of song my Mum would really like ( My Mum is way cool btw , she saw Jimi Hendrix in the U.K back in the day:) ) in fact i'm a put her on to this i'm sure she will love it so for that i'll give it 7/10.

A lot of good music in this megathread; I got to about the 14th song and crapped out because I realized I spent an hour listening to a small no. in the thread. I have been on a Josh Homme kick lately and fell in love with PJ Harvey when, on a whim, I saw her after I heard "Sheela na gig" on the local college station. I bought a ticket for myself and was awestruck by this little woman with a huge guitar just rocking the shit out of 1-200 audience. Combine the two and you get:

Sorry if it was already posted. I knew about Josh H. and his collaboration with many musicians but I enjoyed this mix because it displays Polly Jean's seductive vocals. It starts off way to fast but the music video is absolute crap so I went with the live version "Crawl Home". The Desert Sessions put out some other good tunes but her vocals made this song special, to me anyway.
