Debating for shrooms or LSD

I have both at the moment. Here's the deal, I've taken shrooms before and it was a great and happy experience for me. I have never taken LSD before, but I've heard it is easier to handle. That said, obviously I handled the shrooms all right so that shouldn't be too much of a problem.. but basically, unlike when I took the shrooms last time, I am kind of more depressed than I was back then. So I am kind of scared for a bad trip. I also have a few issues (such as my friend being in a fight with me) that I don't want going into my head and ruining my trip.

Seeing as I have taken shrooms and had a good experience, which should I take if any? I've never tried LSD, but as said above, I've heard it was easier to handle so..

Any suggestions, advice, insight?

Some people prefer LSD, some prefer mushrooms. It's not a hard and fast rule that any one is "easier to handle" than the other, they're both potent psychedelics.

The one thing to keep in mind is LSD can be much longer lasting than mushrooms, and dosage isn't quite as easy to control as it is with mushrooms.

If you feel like you have major unresolved problems in your life it may be best to wait until they're resolved before you trip.

I find LSD to be much more intense than shrooms. Shrooms make me laugh my ass off at everything while LSD is very deep and spiritual. Like Sekio said, LSD will last a bit longer as well. The only bad trip I have ever had on any pshychedelic is when I pushed my dosage of LSD into the 400 mic range. I would say LSD has more potential for both reward and risk. That is just my experiences though. I know more people who have had bad shroom trips than acid trips. I personally would not trip unless I was in a very balanced and healthy state of mind. I wouldn't want to bring all my baggage with me on my trip. If I were depresed and still wanted to trip I would use low to moderate doses of mescaline as it seems less intense and more recreational.

one is not easier to handle than the other imo, they both deserve upmost respect.

sounds like you are more curious to try the lucy, so why not give her a go...take into account what has been mentioned above that the duration of lsd is usually greater than that of fungus so that would need to be taken into consideration.

if you respect the set and setting you should be fine with either of them...

enjoy and perhaps get back and let us all know how you went.

peace

Perhaps you could use either LSD or the mushrooms to help you through your depression? If you are at all hesitant I would advise against this though.

Its a gamble. It could be a breakthrough that shatters the depression but it could also draw one deeper into it. In a case like this set and setting is going to be even more important than it already is.

I've taken LSD at small doses and it helped with depression and anxiety. It's a powerful drug at medium to high doses but at low doses, it just makes me happy. Once you take a certain amount of acid, you couldn't properly integrate with society because of the trip itself. Shrooms on the other hand, they are very 'earthy' like weed is. Small doses don't do much but a stomach ache but I've had some great realizations and great times on shrooms, what I love about shrooms is the mystical feel. Like you're doing something holy. Music creativity to the MAX....until I tried LSD.

Definitely not "earthy". LSD is mechanical...you start thinking different. Your thoughts and imagination run wild, and if you're like me...it's an INTENSE ride.

But both are psychedlics, so there is a somewhat similarity once you get used to them. Weed is a mild-psychedelic. as opposed to MDMA which is a more physical high. Yes, you have great conversations and euphoria out the ass but your thoughts stay where they are, horny...fucked up on molly and wanting to dance your ass off.

LSD (and other psychedelics) can be used as tools. I've had nearly telepathic interaction on LSD, it's something I think EVERYONE should try in a safe and ideal setting, NOT on your disgusting friend's couch listening to Animal Collective Radio on Pandora) at least once in their lives.
