Shit just got real.

"Real World" star Joey Kovar died after taking what could turn out to be a lethal mixture of Viagra, cocaine and alcohol... law enforcement sources tell TMZ.

Our sources say ... Thursday night, just before midnight, Joey went to a woman's house in Chicago Ridge, Illinois, told her he'd been doing cocaine ... and asked her to drive him to a location where he could score more coke. The woman, Stacey Achterhof, rebuffed his request, and asked him to stay at her place.

We're told Joey, who was also fueled up on alcohol, took "some Viagra" and messed around with Stacey ... but they did not have sex. At some point Stacey fell asleep, and when she awakened early Friday morning she found Joey bleeding from the nose and ears.

Law enforcement sources tell us ... his eyes were also "blackened" -- something that frequently occurs when someone ODs. Law enforcement sources tell us they suspect Joey had an aneurysm.

Fuck. The nose and ears (assuming they're from the drugs)? How could be bleeding out of his ears?

I think i remember vaguely when he was on Real World and it talked about on the show how he had/was struggling with addiction...

Relative affinities don't exist here (none of the targets are the same for cocaine and sildenafil). As for formal anecdotes, there's this:

I'm sure Viagra is mixed with every common recreational stimulant all the time. You'd think we'd have more info about the putatively dangerous interaction.
 
Well its definitely very dangerous. Three things which on their own are powerful CNS stimulants. No doubt Cocaine is safer than Cocaethylene.

coke puts pressure on the heart, viagra puts pressure on the heart, now add the two up and you will understand exactly why it is a lethal combination.

I know lots of people who mix the two and never had any problem. In fact it's real common to pop a viagra and fuck on cocaine.

I was thinking cardiotoxicity (honestly), but then I recalled reading that it's contraindicated in patients with hypotension and also that it acts as a vasodilator, hence the confusion (but then again it's also contraindicated in patients with a history of a stroke or heart attack - I'm glad I didn't pick up my prescription).
 
I once mixed lots of alcohol 200mg of viagra and quite a lot of mephedrone and had trouble catching my breath for the next couple of days. Scary stuff.
 
^ are you fucking kidding me dude. What are u 90 years old, I've never heard of anyone taking 200 mg of viagra, senseless. 100 mg is super potent, many take half, but 200, wow.
 
I have always been scared to take viagra because of my coke use, always heard it was a bad mix...but i think its o.k that he OD'ed because its "The real world" right? and these things happen in the real world.......
