Former goth stripper Krystle Cole talks about her time spent living in a subterranean missile silo converted into a luxurious LSD manufacturing facility. She spent three years of her life running from the DEA, being held partially against her will and used as a guinea pig for strange new psychedelic chemicals. Eventually her friends-turned-captors were arrested and Krystle herself barely escaped incarceration. She now makes her living as a writer, sharing her experiences in books and on the web

The situation was more complicated than that. This is also covered in other threads. It helps to understand the whole picture.

Do you have any links to them? It's just odd that she got completely off and had a slap on the wrist while everyone else wound up in prison. Did she accept a plea bargain and testify against everyone else?

Here's an article that may shed some light...

And here's a recent thread from BL DITM.

As I recall she ended up getting tortured and raped by her bf at the time along with some other dude. Also she gave up the supposedly biggest LSD maker in the states at the time so Feds probably gave her a break. Also the guy I think got put away for something other than drugs. I think he had a kidnapping charge against him and assault with a deadly weapon. (he supposedly stuck a hypodermic full of some psychedelic and tried to use it as a truth serum like the CIA did back in the MKULTRA days.

Plus the people she informed on were also informers lol.

I think it's shitty that she's trying to profit from her unpleasant experiences. I can understand the book I guess but is
a site that is essentially erowid that you pay her to use really necessary? I just don't care for her attitude.

Im not too big on vice's shit but they had one video where this dude goes to the westminster dog show, and doses right before it. shit was funny.

I never watched that video but from your description, that is irresponsible-not because he could have done something crazy-but because it paints us users as crazy to those who don't use drugs. They may see him get away with it-once again, I have no idea how the video goes-but they will still continue their ideas of drug use equating to incredibly irresponsible, reckless behavior.

I just don't think psychedelic use should be displayed in such a way if we are trying to get people to take them legitimately.

Yeah this video is pretty old i believe, i saw it a while ago, it's worth a watch I guess, but nothing new, unless you haven't seen it before.

That Silo would have been a mad place to trip at, anyone from Sydney who was into the rave scene back in the early 90's would recall one of our most amazing raves Syd has seen venue wise (ov thee earth tribe and ecky thump 1 +2) in the Glebe Wheat Silos, i was lucky enough to goto all over them and tripped and E'd inside there, it was amazing, especially with so many other like minded individuals, awesome times. here's a pic of the Silos here in Syd (it's really close the heart of Syd city in Aus) -

Glebe Island Silos

Victoria Road, Glebe Island

Glebe Island Grain Terminal is a seminal site in the development of the bulk wheat storage and export industry in Australia. As such it has a pre-eminent position in the historical development of one of Australia's most important primary industries. It was the first and most important of the port terminals and encompassed technologies that were specific to the industry and influential in the development of that industry throughout the country. The first construction phase is particularly noteworthy because of the circumstances of its wholly imported design and technological expertise.

The carefully planned and integrated system, by the 1930's , was considered to be one of the largest, most efficient and well planned installations of its type. The fabric contained within the site, although compromised by alterations and missing elements is capable of demonstrating and recording the evolution of the industrial processes that evolved over several decades. The silos, in particular are the most visible and easily interpreted elements of that former use and form a powerful and well known landmark. The site also has significance for its associations with, and demonstration of, Commonwealth and State government initiatives.

The parties we had in them were pretty much illegal raves, break in, use the place and get out kind of thing, each party went all night till 7 am + tho, very lucky no one got hurt really, as there were trippers and people off their heads on all sorts of things, climbing up to the top on old conveyer belts and ladders and exploring the many rooms and sections. Such an experience.

Vice have done some cool and weird vids, eye openers to me anyway, the krokodil one in Russia and the one in the sewers in some place with the homeless that get targeted by certain groups for 'cleansing' or whatever it's called where people have poured down fuel into the sewers where the homeless live and set them alight. Sad shit.

i understand your perspective, but if you watch the video, its harmless. he conducts himself in an appropriate manner and there is no horseplay or unlawful behavior. the only problem that could be correlated to the video is the fact that they labelled it LSD. google it, youll see what i mean

LOL I think that series is funny! It reminds me of when I was taking college classes and I'd go to them and ride a train while on LSD. :)
