Crust formation on vial lid? questions

So there is a little bottle of clear eyes that my friend Ellis Dee lives in, I opened the cap a couple days ago and noticed a lot of some kind of crystally crusty substance formed around the threaded area of the cap where it screws on but not on the area of the actual dropper.

I wasn't ready to test the crust on myself so i just wiped it off but my question is could it possibly contain psychedelic chemicals?
And also can someone answer in what form does lsd come in when first synthesized

From what I understand it comes in crystal/powder form and people will dissolve it in vials.

I'm not qualified to say if it's possible for LSDcrust to form. But I would definitely bet that it was. Don't wipe it off man

LSD would come either in solution (usually ethyl alcohol) or as crystals, depending on how much effort the chemist wants to put into it.

It almost definitely is. You can always rinse the cap with a little distilled water or Everclear and return the rinsings to the bottle.

the dropper tip is an insert you can pull out and you can drop into it from another eye-dropper
