Hyrdo Vs Bush Weed

the problem with out door plants is there is only a certin time of year to grow good weed.with indoor plants you can grow good quality weed regally...

iv smoked trees that have been in the ground over two years, and it wasn't half bad, i didn't get any headaches from it...different horses for different courses

That is a bit of a silly thing to say,
cannabis growing in the 'natural way' cannot compete with artificially providing a plant of good strain, ideal nutrients and light.

It really gives me the shits that some people like to think that because a chemical that exists with out the touch of man is in some way Superior to mind altering drugs designed with human interference .

answer me this. why can an outdoor not compete with indoor why? you can use good strains outside, you can provide ideal nutrients and light.

it really pisses me off the over inflated sense of worth and intelligence humans have. we need this earth she really doesn't need us raping. you live in town/city somewhere hey, an artificial environment?

He is talking about harvesting Trichomes at the correct time for optimal potency. Google it for some more info. There is a decent picture out there that will teach you how to do it in seconds.

how? you can't control when it will rain, how sunny it will or won't be, and you have to grow with the seasons.

i still don't understand why you can't control the conditions for optimum growth outdoor... temp. humidity, pests, etc etc can all be controlled outside.i have never witnessed such a build up of clouds that plants on earth cease growing, perhaps on iceland it might happen?

These are exactly the variables that you can't control outdoors.

I think you mean Greenland. It may not stop the plants from growing but it will definitely affect their output.

you can't control when it will rain but you can use a tank to collect rain water.

heaps of ways to stop direct sunlight not that you would ever want to. a day or two of clouds isn't necessarily detrimental, the is still enough light to for plants to grow even under cloud. unless its a volcanic cloud or nuclear cloud.

season effect humidity, air temp and heat / cold variances all of this can be controlled. for instance if you are in a frost susceptible climate you can create conditions that will stop the massive fluctuation in temperature and frost. seasons can be imitated isn't that what indoor growers do copy ideal outdoor conditions inside?

why can't you pick your outdoor girls when the trichomes are cloudy? does anyone count the trichomes to ensure a 50/50 mix of cloudy and amber trichomes, do they use a counting machine and a magnifying glass? :)

Yes. It is absolutely essential. You need a magnifier that you buy from electronics stores for a few dollars. The majority of the Trichomes change at the same time. You harvest the top of the plant like usual then let the bottom produce if you want the Trichomes to be even. Some people prefer the top to be psychedelic and the bottom to be sedating or vice versa. It's all personal preference.

Once you have some experience with this you will find it really easy and be able to teach others. How did you know when it was the right time to harvest previously?

i can just picture some massive vb dude with his old man glasses on peering through a magnifying glass with his tongue drooling haha :D

i just call them hairs mate and exactly as you have stated haha all I'm saying is what ever you are doing inside you should be able to replicate outdoors or is it the other way around?.
when the hairs start changing colour is when to pick agreed. i am also aware that you can top the plant and let the lower branches see the the sun to develop furthur. also take note of the shape of the buds, the very tip or top of buds can give you a reasonable idea too, like if the bud shoots out and wants to continue growing out your probs past it, however depending on strain or whatever it might just keep growing right through to next years season obviously not ideal though.

Well you have learned something today then. You should see a marked increase in the potency of your crop this season as a result.

I am not old either. I still play elite level hockey and get on the ice 4 nights a week.

Fuck, what a debate. I'm still curious as to what Medicinal Marijuana is in the US? Is it indoor or outdoor? Or is it up to the customer? There must be plenty of studies done to decide which is safer since it is now an actual medicine in some states in the US.

I tried AK-47, Jack Herer and Kandy Kush. The Kush knocked me on my ass after one J, very potent stuff. I'm scared to go near OG Kush. Herer was a very nice strain and probably the best I've had, no confusion or paranoia just a nice talkative, relaxing high, apparently won a lot of awards.

I do find Hydro to be more potent, I can have one cone of Hyrdo and be completely stoned but will need a few cones off bush weed, although the only bush weed I've had, has had no particular strain attached to it.

you set me up there...pistils hey :) what does the change in pistil colour indicate besides your too late? (i just read on another forum pistils don't matter but the trichs don't lie)...if your not learning your not living

i bow down to your knowledge good sir...you still havnt convinced me that you cannot grow outdoors as strong or potent as you can indoors though!!! :)

i don't play hockey but if i was on the pizzle playing i reckon id be close to pro...i bet you didn't sleep last night either haha

^ yeh jack herrer was good too, grown outdoor of course :) thought the ak high was better though, never saw the kandy kush but i remember there was some hindu kush getting around a few years ago and it was choice...super dirty brown colour pretty much the same colour as the spin

How did I set you up? I don't understand what you mean. Trichomes are how you judge whether Cannabis is ready to harvest for the kind of high you desire.

I play Ice Hockey mate. I don't use drugs. We get tested at International and sometimes even National level.

Jack Herer is a fantastic strain but it won the cup way back in 1994. It was one of the first strains to be feminized and charge big big money for the genetics. Look for some of the Jack Herer crosses these days like Jack Flash for a fast finisher, Jack Frost for a heavy THC strain etc

ah i see there is a difference between playing hockey on ice and ice hockey

feminized seeds = always female / no males so you get 100% from your expensive seeds?

what does auto flowering mean?

The strongest pot i've smoked has been outdoor, not indoor, alot cheaper too. Since electricity is always increasing, the sun is free :)

That is a good point that hasn't been mentioned yet. I guess that is why so many people steal power :)

We haven't mentioned FLIR in choppers yet either. We had a police chopper flying around here a few months ago. Some people realised it and published it's flight paths online. It was no surprise that it was circling over particular suburbs including mine. My suburb is well known for Cannabis.

Not surprisingly the information disappeared very shortly after it was published :)

Indoors has the ability to recreate High summer all year round. Even here in the subtropics where the winters are sunny blue skies with average of 25C, you still have a lull in the growing season. The position of the sun and shorter days cause most plants to simple stop growing. It has nothing to do with the conditions as further south with the same temperture in Summer you find plants will experience the growing season when the seasons are right. Plants seem to have an inbuilt genetic timer that knows when to grow and when not. They are a lot smarter than most people give them credit for and have been surviving on this planet for millions of years longer than our animal lifestock. Also you require the right temperature of the soil to promote uptake of nutrients, hydro don't have this limitation. If you have the correct set up the plant is turbo charged. Indoor set ups are a game of illusion played to trick the plant into thinking everyday is summer/spring.

if i can ask without raising suspicion what is FLIR in choppers because where I'm from choppers are giving the growers a pain in the ass. i did recently hear that choppers had some laser but we couldn't figure out how a laser could identify dope...something to do with the plant temp or uv reflection or something?

your last sentence busty was spot on! i also agree that plants are clevererererer than we give them credit for, mushroom taught me that...have you ever tripped on how mushrooms just appear so quickly and mysteriously sometimes in beautiful fairy rings only to frey away as quickly as they came...like finding mold on your bread when your tripping lucy
