It's a g, I weighed the fucker, but looks like the sort of thing I'd hand to a mate for nowt if they asked for a spliff when I used to grow it.

Aye this is getting me I'll get maybe a spliff or so off a gram. Fucking sucks but when you're skint there's not much else to do. Except not smoke weed but fuck that. I'm another one that'll lob stupid amounts at mates when I've got it though, need to stop that. When I got an oz not so long ago was giving it out left right and centre.

Just found a new guy that's doing standard indoor, nothing special but nice dense buds cured and dried properly at 170 an oz. Also some pretty amazing G 13 in the area at the moment but it's going at stupid prices.

Yh cured weed is hard to find if your buying off Youth on stolen mountain bikes.

Standard weed can be cured doesn't make it special in terms of strength or high, as it is still just standard weed, imo just makes the smoke so much nicer.

lol exactly, unless you are buying from a percy grower there is not much chance it is properly cured.

Mine As i said some circles just like to do things properly, others punt out wet skunk on mountain bikes.

Some growers put alot of love, care, patience & devotion into their weed. Makes paying high prices for top strains slightly more bearable.
I was always a man of €10/g MAX principles but when it comes to having a choice of cured quality vs. rushed quantity I am more than willing to pay the €14.29 per gram!

I'm going back to paying 20quid an oz, max, for well grown, strains of my own choice, cured, trimmed and dried how I like.

Weed market is a pisstake these days.

I'm sure curing bud makes it a bit stronger as well, more of the cannabinoid that turns into THC gets converted or something.

Like has said, I only know one guy who has cured weed, and even thats hit and miss. He's a mate and grows for himself, but sells a bit on to cover the cost. If you catch him at the right time it'll have been cured for a month or two.

I think that during the curing process a benzene ring somewhere or other rotates and more inactives become active because the blobs on them are in better positions for interacting with our big, stoopid brains. However I'm not much of a scientist so I may have expressed this wrongly.

For just plain out right lies definitely. It isn't like Coke or something were people just haven't learnt much about it and don't realize that when they think it's 80% more often than not it isn't. Around here there is people who wont buy the weed unless it has a strain name along with it. So what ends up happening is that a dealer tells them some made up strain/generic strain such as 'Platinum Kush' and they will happily buy it and be convinced it's the best bag of grass they've smoked. Sometimes people can use it to justify the difference between 10-12.50/g.

Meanwhile I'm just gonah stick to my double chocolate critical lemon haze kush (with a hint of blueberry).

During curing THCA loses its carboxyl chain very slowly, turning it into active THC (that is why cured bud is stronger) You can do this quicker using gentle heat (decarboxilation) to make it orally active.

From what I understand, curing is all about keeping the cells alive in the bud so they can continue to break down shit like chlorophyll and sugars after the plant is dead (giving a smoother, nicer tasting smoke) If you dry your weed too much before putting into the curing jars this wont happen because the cells will be dead. It is a bit of a balancing act, if you leave it too late to cure it you will be wasting your time and if you jar it too soon you will get a jar full of mould.

Lemon haze still seems to be every where, can't complain really it could be alot worse. I do wonder why it keeps getting grown tho? It stinks, it hasn't got the best yield and theres just much better strains out there that for some reason don't ever seem to get grown.

Yeah I know what you mean, but the main reason is it stinks! Hence why the cheese hybrids and hazes are so popular, would much rather some nice chocolope or jack herer but it's what stink which sells,
An old dealer of mine in London would use the fact that you couldn't get on public transport with the weed as a selling point! "Yeah wicked mate, so now gotta taxi bk too eh?"
