What does Europe think of Lil Wayne? Im just curious because you reminded me of his Gold Digger freestyle (its called Give Head /w Currensy and Mack Maine)

I think he was making his best music when I really started getting into rap so Ive always liked him.

I mean hes not in my top 5 or anything but he might squeak into my top 10

@shimazu I dont really rate wayne, I can tolerate a hand full of tracks by him but his music is 90% shit imo, the complete opposite of the kind of rap I like.

I understand why people dislike him, I just think if you dont take him seriously he says some funny shit and is usually on hot instrumentals.

how would you guys rank your top 10 then? just curious doesnt have to be in order I guess

Biz gives a a school in the Art of Beat Boxing that i don't think has been ever surpassed .

Shan is right at the peak of his Career , Kane N G Rap are still coming up. The only shame is that you only get 40 minutes of the show .

I can only listen to immortal technique and JMT in small doses, that kind of hip hop just does my head in a after a while, horror core or whatever it is known as these days.

. It's nothing new . KRS OnE has been rapping about social injustice for 25 years. Fuk N.W.A tore up the rule book .

Hip Hop has been around for over40 years and JMT & IT are decent but neither have done anything to put them on a pedestal .

I get the feeling that most IT fans are beetween 16& 21 and have no real knowledge of Hip Hop Culture like Graff, Breaking etc

Yup, and I love KRS One as well. Fuck I went to see him at the warehouse project a couple of years ago. I know you love your hip hop though man and can probs give me loads of political stuff I've not heard of, but I haven't heard it yet
