Festivals 2012

Ah I wish I was going to boomtown! Have fun guys. Im off to creamfields! By myself so this shall be interesting lol.
 
Anyone know of any fairly decent festivals that are relatively drug friendly and cost less than £100 that are occurring at some point before the end of summer? Need something good and relatively cheap to look forward to before summer ends... Did have a cheap, decent festival to go to but it got cancelled :'(

Farmfest? Look, Farmfest is where it's at man, last weekend rocked.

Heard some of the most classic, roots, reggae & culture (with touch of dub) & later really deep, dancing, awsome, electronic dub. The tent was getting a bit crowded by then, so we edged to the sides & enjoyed the bass from there. Does anyone know is there actually people making, like, Dub musc for dancing, now? Like, long, repetitive, slowish tracks with little or no vocals with a distinctly reggae/dub fell. The rastas spinning definitely had some well crackly old cuts, but the harder, dancier stuff sounded cleaner? I dont THINK he had any CD players, but got the impression these were NEW hard, dancey dub platters? Any ideas where to buy this shit? The Dub Tent DJ's were from Bristol, methinks.

A mate played brilliantly to a tiny crowd (well sad) & the rest of the fest was slightly iffy though there were some cracking little live acts including By The River.

&, not only did it not fuckin rain, but both days were perfect, warm without humidity & the sky was clear as fuck at night. We could see the Milky Way, Dipper, the lot. Stars trippin is WIERD man!

I'll be at Boomtown in a full black prada tracksuit, with the bottoms tucked into simpsons socks inside blue nike air max 95s.

Defo wanting to hear reports on boomtown. Only know someone that went up there on a random, managed to get a ticket on the way and has no way home...

Would LOVE that outlook ticket, but have no one to go with... planning on going next year already though!

ticket came in the post today :D, now to find accomaddition in Belfast for the Foo Fighters and Stone Roses gigs. got email from company that rents appartments and the place i had was double booked ( fucking bastards :sus: )

got a place for 3 nights in Belfast for just under £100, it's not perfect but near the gigs and gives me a few extra quid to spend on drink n drugs.
