I mentioned The Wire in the topic about "the most notorious state", but I actually haven't seen it. Is it worth watching? I've only seen the first episode and tbh It looked like just another CSI-ish series when I watched it.

I don't like cop-series at all, because I think they're all the same, nomatter what the topic of the series is. Did I get a wrong first impression, or is it just another series in which a detective solves crimes?

It is so much more then a cop-series. Stick with it through the first season because at the start it's just setting everything up then the second half of the season is amazing. You def. got the wrong first impression...it's one of the best and most ambitious shows ever made. It's not just about detectives solving crimes. It's a complete and thorough look at the drug trade, politics, a city, etc. I could go on and on...the show is about so many different things. It's nothing like CSI, give it another chance dude!
 
I certainly will. I have wayy too much spare time anyway due to my insomnia. So sticking with it won't be a problem hehe. The way you're describing it makes it sound alot more interesting than I imagined it to be after watching the first episode.

But yeah, there are other series that don't grab you from the start, but are still awesome so I'll definitely give it another chance. Cheers. :)

HBO shows can be a bit headier than others... I guess it's to justify the extra $20 bucks for the channel??

The Sopranos, for instance, I could not get into but then I saw the last episode and bought the series... already knowing what happened, haha...

Bored to Death is another good HBO series, cancelled though.

I haven't seen The Sopranos either because the first two episodes were so boring. :p Another one worth watching, I take it?

i know! I had k-pins and restoril in case i felt like i was gonna seize, and when i did, i took them and it was fine after that.
 
A tiny bit high. I rolled a spliff with Top scraps and kief I scraped from the threads of my grinder with a pen knife.

Worth the effort? Meh.
 
I'm feeling all right, not exactly "high" but close, real close. I'm sure that I would feel better with a bit of xanax to compliment the bags we just sniffed, but my guy who has them wasn't around before; he's around now, but I just don't feel like going back out. I'll go ahead and swing by tomorrow to pick them up.

It's crazy, though, because we haven't been spending any of our own money on drugs; we haven't even taken a front in a while, which is really, really surprising. Basically, we've just been running errands for our dealer, giving rides and whatever else.Normally we try to stay away theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeefeffffffffffffffff
