Tinychat thread and that.

Sanity needs restoring.

IMO, two people on this board could very soon be responsible for the death of EADD. When people like Watson's Torment, the very embodiment of all that is good about this forum, leave EADD you know something is very, very wrong. You know that when people like MM (the soft twat) start getting infractions, along with dozens of others, that something is very, very right. Er, wrong.

A mod, who was a very good poster with a lot of good info to impart when he wasn't a mod, needs to become BL crew and get back to where he earned some respect.

A poster, who can be an informative and entertaining poster when he's not being a beligerent twat, needs to change his ways too. Ok I will. You too MSB.

Or....we can watch it go all up in flames.

I don't get why there should be a 'report post' function anyway. Why can't there just be a general responsibility for mods to edit only that which is definably, and pre-defined, chat which is beyond the pale, e.g. racism, homophobia etc?

The way it stands, the function is bound to be abused by people with vendettas and cry-babies. Waste of time and has perverse results, as has come apparent.
 
This thread isn't for debate on BL policy; I'd encourage anybody with concerns on such to speak to senior staff rather than post here.

I'm still not in Tinychat, btw.
