This so called crisis is no different to what goes on in EADD day in day out. It's just loads of people dishing out abuse. Except it's different this time as a lot of it is aimed at mods (it's usually them giving it out to others). Can't have the mods being criticised now can we. 8)

I know it sucks, but we went from almost zero reported posts in EADD to double figures per day on a single thread. Not only that, but there were some serious breaches of the rules going on, dissemination of staff-only information being the worst.

The senior staff got sick of seeing the same thing flashing up again and again, so they took the action they felt was most effective and appropriate.

I feel sorry for anybody who just wants to use the forum as intended, but that's just the way it's worked out. I'm sure it'll be reconsidered in good time.

there's another approach which is to behave like an adult and not do that. childishly threatening to clog up other threads with off-topic posts is part of the attitude which makes this whole thing so ridiculous in the first place. if you're so concerned about hr, why clog up threads as retribution? you'll only hurt those you claim to want to protect.
