Festivals 2012

The filth only managed to make 12 arrests for drugs at the Secret Garden Party this year.
There was 26000 folk there this year so it looks like plenty of folk managed to get their party packs into the venue without any trouble.

My boss has just invited me to go with him & a workmate to Westfest, guaranteeing extra holiday since I've used it up. I'm fairly undecided since we aren't exactly good pals, only known him for a short while but I get on with the workmate. Worth going to? What's security like? Easy to buy stuff inside?

Also, looking at holidays next year with the lads and really want to do a festival, it has to be between 15th july and 1sept though really. Although I'm looking at doing the Outlook/Dimensions duo and hoping no one needs to go uni really early. Any suggestions? We could probably go earlier to be fair, but not everyone would be 18.

It's not uncommon, at all. A lot of bosses do coke, as they have the money, and they love acting the rich twat. I've gotten high at a work's do, along with everyone else. My bird's boss does coke, and the employees get high around him. They all get on really well, so it's more of a social thing.

I mean at my own work's do, with members of staff, and a boss. I find IT people are pretty into their drugs. Maybe it's just where I live. You obviously need to be quite a close bunch, before ridiculous all-nighters become commonplace, with your superiors.

well hes actually my manager, but yeah. Caught him plenty of times doing a line 'to keep him alert' during some of our longer shifts so I doubt he will be bothered
 
i went creamfields last year and it was pretty low on security the only problem is at the entrance theres a open space they make you walk through in a controlled manner not everyone at the same time then you show your ticket and have your bag checked by a fellow raver doing some unpaid work to get in free (not that thorugh a check and normally a hot chick).. but in the open space there is police cunt-stables with sniffer dogs patrolling the area and trying to smell ya gear... last year i was lucky cos it wasnt the dog that had a problem with me was more the slag that was walking it she ran over to me and started throwing her dog at me :/ i think i may have looked a lil bit messy before entering but luckily i had a couple grams mandy stashed in my mouth and was prepared to swallow that shit but she didnt catch me :) .....also a load of my mates got in with stupid amounts of gear and yh id say ur diluted spirit bottle is a good idea

You were going to swallow a couple of grams of mandy.... I do hope it was in something more acid proof than a normal baggy or bindle.

Hopefully they sort all this drink shite out. Most chilled out festival I've been to in previous years and it just seems to be heading to shite. Should still be there though.

BYO Drink is on the minds of many this evening.
Meeting with PSNI and Council yesterday went well and as a result-

Weekend campers only may bring own alcohol - only for consumption in the campsites please- and no glass. BYO Drink may not be taken out of the campsites.


Please bring enough to last the weekend so you are not tempted to drink and drive. PSNI are aware that there were a lot of shuttl...e runs for drink last year so they will have the breathalysers out.

There will be lots of great bars around the site so if you run out you wont go without.
Sample from Bar Menu:-

Krombacher
Erdinger
Aspalls Cider
JD & Coke
G&T etc etc
Wine too
large Buckfast
all £3.50

The bars will accept tokens only which you can buy from the token booth when you arrive.
No worries.
