I'll be avoiding as much as the Olympics as possible apart from the 100m sprint which I enjoy because it lasts about as long as my attention span. bah humbug

Although I am looking forward to the Opening Ceremony I'm glad that I will be watching at home. A friend of mine went to the dress rehearsal earlier this week and said it's a great show, starts slow but then goes mental. However, getting home was a nightmare. Took him 3 times as long as usual, what's the betting there will be thousands of people in that same situation tonight?

Looking forward to the boxing, Ireland usually do pretty well in that. Even if we do enter settled(and sometimes not so settled!) pikeys into the comp lol

We have some good cyclists too but GB have those medals in the bag already since their team is incredible.
