Screams...

Thanks everybody really. Now i'm in a strange funny state (took 110ug of LSD 3 hours ago) that's enjoying. I didn't laugh so much since months, or years. It feels like I've fallen in a drunken-stupor state, not too much really, but from depressed as hell to this is not bad.

Glad you're enjoying it. Most people find the 100-200ug dose range with LSD is wonderful for this. I don't recommend taking high doses of any psychedelic when you're depressed or anxious. I did this and it actually exacerbated my problems, as during my trips these negative feelings were brought to the surface and made to feel 100x worse than they normally do. At low to average doses you can have a calm, enjoyable, and even therapeutic trip that can help you deal with your problems.

Also, most peoples dose ranges for LSD are way overstated, due to a lot of people too easily believing that the strong blotter they have is 250ug+, when even 100ug can be a strong trip for those sensitive to LSD, and their blotter is likely a lot weaker than they assume. Your 110ug estimate for your blotters is probably fairly accurate if they're a decent strength, and so taking 2 should be a strong trip while not being overwhelming or dangerous. If you want to up the experience, go for 2 next time, not 5/6 :)

Less is more once you learn how to use psychedelics beneficially imo, unless you have a lot of experience and a very valid reason, high doses are mostly a novelty thing. I also feel that the more clearheaded analytical psychedelics like LSD, Mescaline, 2C-X, DOx are designed to work better at low doses before memory loss and mindfuck kick in, whereas some of the more mind-melting tryptamines like mushrooms and DMT are more suited for out of this world balls-to-the-wall experiences (in a safe environment).

You mention having anxiety and depression. If you wish to seek some relief from this with psychedelics, I recommend taking a low dose of a controllable psychedelic like LSD with a friend who is also on the same drug. Spend the entire trip talking about your problems, trying to find the route cause, and asking your friend what he thinks you should do about it.

It worked for me and I'm now anxiety free :D

I think you would really enjoy psilocybin, have you done any research or reading about the mushroom experience ?
Yes... but since the blotters arrived, i forgot of them...! Thanks, the next time it will probably be mushrooms.

[extract, ndr] Most dangerous, however, are those who feel they have "few alternatives left in life" and are gripped with a "potentially dangerous eagerness and strong motivation to have a psychedelic session." He explains: "They find themselves in a subjectively unbearable situation of intense conflict associated with great emotional distress and tension. Typical characteristics include serious questioning of the meaning of life, toying with suicidal fantasies, and a careless and risky approach to various life-situations in general... In their fantasy LSD becomes the magic tool that will give them instant relief, either by mediating a miraculous cure or by precipitating self-destruction." (LSD Psychotherapy, Stanislav Grof (Hunter House, 1980) p. 56)

It is probably absolutely true, and I as well as many others would fit in some way into the category. I find it curious though that the most messed ups are usually told to refrain from one thing or another. You can't do meditation, because you're too FU, better not to experiment with psychedelics because "they're not an escape route", psychiatrists don't work, drugs don't work, nothing work. And then? should whe make ourself blow up? As long as they have a normal IQ and ethics everyone has the right to try! don't underestimate people! the fact that Dr. Grof. (for example) has had it's own difficulties with such people, only show his inadequacy to properly understand and address suffering.

Awesome, but please - NO HEROIC DOSES FIRST TIME WITH SHROOMS - promise me that.

Thanks, i was going to actually, but if you say so i shall start with with a normal dose.

If LSD was really your "first ever experience with mind altering substances," then you don't know this to be true.
Right, but to be specific with "drugs" i meant in this case prescription pharmaceuticals, which i don't consider as strictly mind-altering, unless one wants to include even stuff like paracetamol in the category. I have tried Sertraline and Venlafaxine with none to little effect. These molecules have none trasformative power anyway, so they are only partially useful...

It is my first experience ever with mind-altering substances and i will probably be taking 500 - 650 ug of LSD tonight.
I should say that I will be alone, have been mildly suicidal in the past, now just potently depressed. My body/mind is also in an uninterrupted stress-irritability state due to an OCD about my spine (kyphosis). I know the experience will likely turn for the worse, this is my responsibility though.

Obvious trolling, IMO.
