Alright peeps, I've had to rise from my sickbed and wade through pages of this which is not how I wanted to spend today :|

Can we please put the handbags away now? Yes this is Gibberings and I don't want to stifle free speech or anything but a minority of you chewing over the same beef endlessly is pretty fucking boring for the rest of us. Debate is all good, I'm not trying to make this place PLUR-tastic, but it's going too far and there's an unpleasant atmosphere in here all to often these days. Contrary to what some of you seem to think, we don't enjoy infracting or removing posts but if it continues then the removing/infracting is going to continue as well. It's not on that a few bickering people overwhelm the forum in this way. EADD caters to a wide range of people, try to respect that please.. We already have more banter than pretty much every other forum on BL, if people keep pushing it too far then there'll end up being an even bigger clamp down, which would be pretty shit.

If you have an issue with a post, report it. We're not mind readers and it's sometimes very difficult to decide if something is overstepping the mark or not, so hearing others' opinions helps. If you have an issue with a poster, take it to PM, put them on ignore or PM us if you think it warrants it. Constantly baiting each other is boring, get out in the sunshine!

Please, think before you post. If you think it might be overstepping the line then it probably is. If you have a query about warnings/infractions, take it up with us directly, they're not a badge of honour. I appreciate some of you would like this to be a free-for-all, but it isn't. Head over to SquatJuice if that's what you're after.

Aaaanyways. How is everyone? The sun is shining and I'm in bed with fucking gallstones, so I apologise if I'm a little shorter than usual :| think some codeine might be in order..

I don't know about winning, but I'm feeling insanely fucking claustrophobic cause it's so humid and hot but there's no sun. it's 82 degrees inside.
I really wanna have a long bath but my boiler bust a while back and the new one doesn't get fitted until tomorrow. So a cold shower will have to do.

You didn't miss owt Brimz, this thread will put you to sleep if you read back the last few pages.

You got any aftersun cream? cause you should be lathering that stuff on otherwise you'll peel like fuck if you got burnt.
lobbing some in the fridge for half an hour before using it makes it feel ace when it goes on

Weird how this was never brought up in the entire year I was picked on and humiliated by the same group of people (including the mod who is getting flack now) isn't it? Within one day of Sam getting much deserved, and I must say quite weak, flack, it's straight out with the modstick. Spade's been here 8 years and never even got a warning, in one day bam he gets a warning. PTCH etc. have never been warned or infracted either. The unpleasant atmosphere is quite likely to stay while we have a thoroughly unpleasant and totally unsuitable character moderating us. Modding is by no means a popularity contest, but some people are just not fit for purpose. Rather than saying 3/4 of EADD is wrong you could entertain the idea that it is the person you've gone to such lengths to protect who is in the wrong. The question you've really got to ask yourself is how many of us are you willing to infract and ban just to protect the ego of someone who doesn't deserve any respect? How many more people have to leave so that you can sure up what has for a long time been a completely untenable position? The amount of people i've spoken to who have said they've taken the issue up the ladder is unbelievable, we've even lost a mod who actually deserved respect and done the job well to keep Sam in his role, but still nothing is done. How is HR supposed to be carried out when you infract and ban those who give out due criticism, and others leave in droves because of such a transparently unpleasant person.

Eh, gallstones are shit. Not good being in bed in weather like this either, let alone when you're ill.

How are they getting treated Effie? Don't they get dissolved or something through regular treatment?

You clearly haven't read anything that i've posted. Just tell me how far this guy has to go before he will finally be stopped because it seems you are willing to lose every last member of EADD before you remove him from his undeserved position. In all honesty spade would make a better mod, and that really is saying something. At least he is vaguely impartial.

Wish i did have some , i burning up like a crisp here . N i've got quite a dark complexion .

^ This, and you are well aware of it MSB. I'm not getting drawn into an argument about it here, nice try. This is not all some giant consipracy. If you continue to discuss it in here I'm going to remove your posts, just to give you a heads up.

I've got to have my gallbladder whipped out Marmz :( They don't bother with breaking down the gallstones anymore as it's pretty ineffective and they just recur. It's keyhole surgery though, daycase, so shouldn't be too bad. Quite a long wait though I think, hoping they'll start behaving themselves again soon. Low-fat diet in the meantime :(

body shop stuff usually smellz ace too .. you're lucky in bath to have some decent open spaces to fall asleep in. in my town they actively like to keep seating to a minimum to avoid people congregating. we've got about one very small but semi-well maintained park, the rest are left to rot and covered in dog shit and left to local community groups to manage

I hate having a shitly run council
 
Fuckaduck Effie that's not good, hope it's not too painful.

I've just spent fifteen minutes persuading the pharmacist to sell me some codeine for my girlfriend who's climbing the wall, crying with pain from an infected wisdom tooth. SO fucking frustrating getting the whole 'has she tried ibuprofen? how about clove oil?' (subtext, you look like you might be hoping to get slightly high) but I got there in the end. Might have to actually do a CWE for medical purposes, it's horrible seeing her like this.
