Phencyclidine (PCP) not as popular as it used to be?

ive never known anyone whos done it nor have i done it, but id assume its from all of the poor media attention, ie the people going bezerk on cops breaking through fences and not being affected by tazers, stuff like that. i have heard its very similar to k, but ive never had any violent intentions on k like ive seen with dust

I know a couple people who have tried it. Both of them seemed to like it. One of them said it made him feel like he was "glued to his couch". It does seem to have a bad reputation, though, even among drug users.
It is very similar to K. Ketamine is the reason I tried PCP because I loved it so much. All it really does to you is it slows everything down and kind of make you feel like a zombie, but each person has a different reaction/experience with it. The only thing is little things can make a person snap or get very paranoid and have a bad trip.

i have only come across pcp twice. both times the individuals wasnt very trusty so i never bought any, both times it was in the hood. i would love to obtain some quality pcp if i ever had the chance, even if i dont want to consume it now i would like to have some to save for when im ready to use it.

Never come across it.
In the hood is the only place I can get it also.
Here in LA it's rare to find anyone else who else smokes sherm. Usually it's either tweak or heroin.

PCP was very high on my list of drugs to try and it took me many years of searching to even find a couple doses. I find it to be great fun if used in reasonable dosages. I guess it is the media hype that has demonized this drug so much that even avid drug users aren't willing to try it. It's ridiculous though because people rape, murder and kill themselves on alcohol probably many times a day every day of the year, but I guess in the off chance someone does this on PCP they're usually naked and mumbling gibberish, so maybe it gets so much attention because their actions are so peculiar, the normal drunk driver killing someone isn't nearly as memorable. I also imagine alot of these cases are people who have been up for days smoking pcp, not a first time user.
And then the whole, my weed was laced with pcp stories. When I got the pcp cigs they reek of chemicals, if anyone got weed that smelled like that and didn't think anything was strange about it they're fucking retarded. Weed can be pretty potent these days, yea maybe you got too high, no need to blame it on pcp. Although I do know that pcp has been sold in pill form as things like "mescaline" or "pure thc" in the past.
But yea, I hope it sees a resurgence, it would be great to be able to get it in a reliable, measurable and pure form.

PCP is #1 on my drugs to do list. i have everyone i can looking for it, but it seems to be hard to find in western iowa, even though i live along a major interstate that runs through a few major cities, so u'd think some would have to come around some time :/

I've never seen it around personally. And I've only heard of someone I personally know having tried it. Dude was a tool though. My guess is that it was pretty much replaced by Ketamine, and I assume it's use is a lot less prevalent than K's, what with all the bad press around PCP in the 70's. But I'm sure it's still around just rare.
More likely it's just an urban myth - they used the same stories for heroin, pot and LSD "He got naked and took LSD and then jumped off a 10 storey building and attacked 15 policemen". PCP just seemed to get stuck with it because it's so rare no-one knew enough to say "That sounds like bullshit".
I smoked a sherm blunt a long time ago while chilling under a railway overpass. Very similar to K in my experience, but as was said much more paranoia and strange body sensations. Did feel pretty good though. At the time I didn't know what "wet" was so the dude sold me a blunt for like $10 and said "careful bro, this weed's a bit wet so burn it slow and only smoke half to yourself". I threw caution to the wind as I thought he meant it was literally damp weed. Wrong! I felt like people were watching me in the bushes and chased after them screaming nonsense and swinging a large stick. My friends got a kick out of it though XD St Louis still has some "water"" washing around on the northside in the hood so if anyone is from this area, be wary of smoking pre-rolled blunts with strangers (ended up trippin out with my dope man when I matched him a blunt lol).

That's a hilarious story. I would have done the exact same thing. I would have expected it to be hard to light and would have frickin' hauled on that thing, haha!

I personally love PCP it's actually one of my favorite drugs. I'm a huge fan of the dissociative and PCP is basically the top tier of said class. However here on the west coast it is basically a holy grail (i.e. I gotta climb a fucking mountain to get it) probably because of the huge stigma against it. But I would love to see a resurgence and a better understanding of it. I try to convince people to give it a shot but I usually just get dirty looks and that 'man dude you've gone of the deep end' talk.

Depends on where you live and who you know. Some cities/neighborhoods it's pretty common. Think I read that PCP can be found in most major US cities, and some cities in Canada and even Mexico, to varying degrees. Strangely it almost never appears outside of North American. I have a feeling that a lot of K-heads would love it.
There seems to be three primary sources for PCP, southern California, northern California and Quebec. Southern California makes water, northern California makes dust, and Quebec makes mesc. It's then smuggled to other places.

Just from living in north philly for a year I met a LOT of people who like PCP. It's actually one of the cheapest ways to get really high up there lol.
