This isnt a topic that ive seen touched on much but one tbat i know definately exists

For example around 5 days ago i nodded out with my arm in a real fucked up position for am extended period of time and has been hurting ever since. I couldnt use that hand to grasp anything for a couple days, i mean my ability to clench it was so bad that when i went to get dope once my dealer dropped ome of my bags and i tried to pick it up 4 times with that hand before deciding it was futile and using my other one to get it lol. Its gotten better every day to the point where today its almost back to normal, but ive heard horror stories of people nodsing out and cutting off blood flow and having to get arms amputated ect.. anyone have any stories on the subject?

Also the only sleep ive gotten in 5 or 6a days has mostly been while nodding out bent over leaning overbmy desk, on the toilet, or even standing up so my back is sooo fucked up right nkw.. i even nodded out at thee top of my stairs amd was soooo close to falling down about a dozen steep wooden stairs when i woke up

Anyone else have something to share on the subject?

I've actually read quite a bit about this here on BL, I forget the exact thread but I've even read stuff where people nodded out in a certain position that was bad and i think they pinched a nerve or did some sort of nerve damage and couldn't move limbs for a long time requiring extensive physical therapy, I forget what it's called though I'm totally drawing a blank here maybe someone else can fill in the gap.

You're probably doing too much if youre nodding out for so long that you stay in a bad position for such a great length of time to do serious harm.

neuropathy is pain, numbness and tingling/pins and needles sensation due to nerve damage.....
mononeuropathy is the same but due to damage to only one nerve or one set of nerves..
that's all i got....w/e

Not on H, but I've nodded on a couple of times with a lit cigarette. Obviously not a good thing....last time it happened it somehow ended up between my head and the pillow, lucky for me I had a lot of hair and woke up in time to find it before it caught anything on fire. It did burn a nice hole in my pillow. ><

I bumped my bad knee a few times coming back to from a nod, but it was nothing major.

Oh man, I've nodded out countless times and just busted my face on shit. My desk, my laptop, my coffee table... Hah.

...& then I've nodded out with cigarettes and burnt everything from my bed to shorts. Every pair of basketball shorts I own, have burn holes in them from nodding out. Damn you opana!

This exact thing happened to my BF but his arm and fine motor movement especially tool like 2 months to return to normal so YA u can fuck yourself up doing this and lose limbs (like that guy who had his legs amputated to avoid a massive embolism when he nodded off on the can for a stupid long time) so just make sure ur in a good position and not gonna hurt urself .... Mainly people just wind up with symptoms that recover like urs but clearly it can go th other way if ur not careful
Ur dose seems too high btw, take t easy and appreciate ur tolerance before u fuck it to high hell then REQuIrE those doses just to stay well

My brother died of a heroin overdose, but I think what really happened is that he nodded out & suffocated. When I found him he was sitting on the toilet leaned foreward & his face was resting on the roll of toilet paper in a way that blocked his nose & mouth. I imagine the same thing could happen with a pillow, towel etc. It's common sense to stay away from sharp things while nodding, but soft things can be dangerous too. Be careful out there folks.

Thats terribke man im really sorry about your brother

When i was younger at a big party it was the first time i drank waaaay too much ibalmost drowned in a toilet. I passed out for like i 5 hours on a toilet where i was puking, my arms were crossed on it and my head was BADELY held up by the edge of them... like it was maybe a quarter of an inch from slipping off them into the toilet. It was really scarey how close i could have come to dyong that night

Trust me ive noticed my tolerance has gotten retarded high the last week

Man speaking of nodding out on toilets my bathrooms kinda small, a few days ago i nodded on the toilet and fell straight forward with all my weight pulled down from gravity in a freefall and slammed my head into the wall in front of me sooo hard haha.

Guess it was better yhen not having a wall so close and falling straight down where my face would of hit the floor instead

Editt-before anyone gets on me fir double posting i put two big messages like that seoerate because im typing on my phone. Its too hard to try to explain why but the longer a messsage it is the more impossible it gets on this phone to navigate around it.. like if i wanna edit something in the middle of it foeget about it ill never get the cursor there

I have a half dollar sized bald spot on the back of my head from a scar I got when I nodded out. I caught a real good nod and hit the back of my dome on the corner of my headboard of my bed. I'll never go naturally bald but that part of my head is like scorched earth as far as hair is concerned...

i have slept on my arm wrong nodded out, and had 0% use of my arm for a week, it was like it was dead, same with my leg sleeping wrong, not feeling the pain, i was limping. once i tried pissing sitting down super high and it was hard to piss, i nodded out, fell face first into the floor, ass in air, neck totally sprained...and the many cigarette burns too :-)

Please don't smoke in bed! My mother in law almost died and her house burnt down because she was smoking in bed while on halcion and darvocet.

I am so sorry for your loss.

It is so true. Newborns and infants suffocate that way too. Obviously not because they are intoxicated, but because they are not able to roll over or are sleeping too deeply to wake up. That is why no baby under 12 months old should have any bumpers, pillows, blankets or toys in her crib.

I really recommend that anyone who is getting to the point of nodding out to lie down on a firm mattress with a sheet and no pillow on your side or stomach. That way you are in a good position for your airway and if you vomit you will not aspirate.

|LMAOO! that is a FUNNY ASS TOPIC, my friend shoots up and the funniest thing was when i found him outside on his porch with a bowl of cereal and his face plastered in it, while he slept in it for about 30 minutes lol... ya hes usually pretty clumsy
