methodone is no good,IMO try tapering done enough were you can stop and/or get on suboxone for the opioid dependency.the problem with the done is you retain water and on it,that is only one of many down sides to the methodone as you know.suboxone has many fewer side effects so whenits time to end treatment its a lot easer to come off.I have empathy for you though I am recovering addict and found my new drug of choice is physical/health enhancement by working out and making healthy knowledgeable decisions in my life with that said you should really get a professional medical opinion. Some doctors are cool about it and will advise you in proper AAS consumption.Hope all woks out for you.
I know that methadone has been shown to put on weight in some people (I fell into that category when I was in recovery) but I was unaware it actually retained water ? Do you know why this is - I didn't bloat, simply metabolism was killed by the dones / depakote / lithium and serequel - thank god I'm off that stuff bro!! Suboxone is a much better drug to use, but frankly, I wouldn't recommend daily treatment with any of the two - wait until you are ready to quit, use some suboxen(just enough so you can sleep, yes you still could feel sick, when I kicked with suboxen the first time I was taking 10-12 80s a day and even 3 8mg subs would leave me feeling sick sometimes). Best advice - set a week aside, take as little as possible w/the subs, ride it out, and try to fill that time with the training bro!! I don't know about you but if you have a job , even part time , preparing meals for the week / days - and making sure you eat at the right times, lifting then cardio later wil take up plenty of time! Do you have family support bro ? If I hadn't had my best friend around I doubt I ever would've made it through the 7 (yes 7) weeks of methadone withdrawal, but I kicked cold turkey at a high dose. Best of luck mate, I'd leave AAS alone until you are feeling like yourself. Be safe friend.
