I scored in Cork city yesterday for the first time. It really wasn't worth the trouble I had to go through to get it but I persevered. Instead of the 10 minutes it would usually take me to score in Dublin, it took me four hours to score in Cork. FOUR FUCKING HOURS. Bear in mind, I have no contacts in Cork whatsoever, but I didn't think it would be too difficult to score in what is the second biggest city in Ireland.
Anyway, I ended up making friends with some cuntish pissheads that said they'd help me, and they rang around but couldn't get hold of anyone. As time passed they got even more drunk and started to get on my nerves, asking me if I would give head for gear and all this shite. Then they had me wait outside a fucking homeless shelter while they went in and asked one of the guys staying there if he had any gear, and he did, but he needed the money first. But I didn't trust the guys I was with so when they asked me to give them the money to give to the dealer I refused. Then they started getting abusive and a paddy wagon pulled up and it turns out that the people I was with were known to the gardai. The gardai then started asking me for my details, obviously checking if there was a warrant out for me, and why I was in Cork. Even though the latter was none of their business, I didn't object and remained as polite as possible because one of the guys I was with was giving them cheek and I didn't want to cause any more trouble. Then I walked off, saying goodbye to the pissheads, who were now shouting abuse at me.
As I walked back into the city centre I called the first number one of the guys rang off my phone and luckily for me, the dealer picked up. I asked for a 30 bag, which apparently is the smallest bag you can get in Cork (unlike Dublin, where you mostly get 20 bags). I went down to the place where I was supposed to meet the dealer, who was Lithuanian. I met two guys there who were also waiting on the same dealer and we waited and waited and waited. Eventually the guy showed up, but he only had one bag which he gave to the guys, so I had to follow him up to the dodgiest residential area I have ever seen and ended up waiting some more. No less than four hours after my initial efforts to score, I got my 30 bag.
As for the gear, it was a light-ish beige colour, less rocky than the stuff I got in Dublin a few weeks ago and ran perfectly on the foil. If the stuff we'd been getting up to two months ago was 3/10, and the stuff I got last time in Dublin was 7/10, then this stuff was probably 5/10. It seems I went to an awful lot of effort for what was ultimately mediocre gear. I'm definitely going to wait till I can score in Dublin before I score again!
