Heroin Heroin Consumed During Traffic Violation

Hi All,

Today i picked up heroin for the first time in a while and I got a lot higher than expected. I was nodding out very intensely while driving which lead to me being pulled over by a police officer. I got extremely lucky in the fact that I fell asleep numerous times during the traffic stop which lead to the officer driving me home. So anyway when the police officer first threw on his lights I swallowed a double bagged .5 gram bag. Is there any chance that the bag will survive and come out during a bathroom trip? Has anyone experienced a similar situation and how did that playout?

Yeah it was incredibly dumb on my part, I thought doing half my normal dose would allow me to be functional. Wrong. I put myself and numerous others at risk today, something I'm not proud of, let alone relapsing. The bag is double wrapped in plastic baggies. I hope it doesn't come out still O.K. I'd rather just be done with it. Thanks

You definitely dodged a bullet with the cops man..that's for sure. As far as the condition of your dope... either way, I don't know if I'd want to have anything to do with it after it came out the other end...however, a half gram is still a half gram..so wouldn't want to waste that either..

Well one thing is for sure, if you are able to 'recover' the bag, do not IV the dope.

Take a laxative if you want to make the recovery process easier. It's a lot easier to find a gold nugget by sifting through a stream than it is by mining thorough some solid rocks, if you catch my drift.

There was a time I pulled over onto a back road off a main road to inject some heroin. I injected my typical dose, put my syringe and the rest of the dope away in the ceiling of my car and I guess I fell asleep. I awoke to a tapping on the window. It was a cop. I rolled down my window and the cop immediately said hello, just checking to see if you are alright. I asked why and he replied that someone had called thinking I was unconscious in the car. I told him I decided to take a nap because my blood sugar was low and I was tired. He told me to step out of the car and climb into the front seat of his. He drove me to nearby gas station, gave me two bucks to go inside and buy a gatorade, and then drove me back to my car where we started making small talk and shit. Eventually he told me to get out because I talk too much and he had stuff to do lol.

I'm certain the only reason I got off was because I stashed my shit, I didn't look like a junkie, and I gave a halfway decent excuse as to why I was asleep.

This. It's one thing if you're on a moderate amp dose and not completely tweeked, but while nodding? That's just insanity. Almost as bad as the guy I came across with his car door open, keys in hand, and passed out with his feet on the floorboard and torso on pavement covered in vomit.

It's shit like this that give responsible users a bad name. If you want to use keep the risk(s) to yourself, don't transfer it to the mother driving down the street with her children in the backseat.

Someone who has been on heroin for a year or more everyday can drive without a problem when it's gotten to the point that dope is used to allow them to function and feel normal as opposed to getting high.

There is a difference between driving high and driving when one has gotten right.

It's still a good rule of thumb to wait until you get home before getting high, especially when things like this happen and you get higher than expected (dope dealers don't standardize their doses last I checked). A little patience never hurt anyone.

Innocent life > you getting your dope fix an hour early. I thought this was a harm reduction forum?

Ive totalled 2 cars because of nodding behind the wheel. Yes, I was a fucking idiot then. Seriously, wait until you get home to fix. As for your anal or toilet fishing expedition, forget it. Even as bad as a dope fiend that I am, I would not shoot up junk that's been thru my digestive tract and my ass. Opiates usually constipate you anyway... I doubt you'll be able to retrieve the bag. I have also totaled a car from DUI of heroin, like stated before when I was using a lot I could easily snort around a gram and be good to go without a nod. I didn't expect taking 14 days off to cut my tolerance in half. I also don't shoot dope I sniff it, so I won't be banging it. I appreciate the replies but god damn some of you guys come off like straight assholes, but I guess I was the biggest one for not just pulling over. Could've been arrested for the first time and changed everything I've been working to fix.

For sure, but if the dope happens to be stronger than expected 'getting right' quickly becomes 'nodding out.'

So when I am withdrawal; Sweating, twitching, can't think right, and my eyes are watering I should wait until I get home huh? If you get a regular dope dealer that you see everyday for years the doses are pretty much the same bro and if you get a new stamp you ask how it is and bang half to be on the safe side.

What about a benzo dependent person? I guess when they should wait to get home before taking their Xanax and not worry about having a seizure while driving or a panic attack right?

Or me. I guess when I drive to the clinic every morning, I should tell the nurse that I will have my dose to go. I wouldn't want to take it and risk driving home.
