So in this thread i want to here stories first hand if pos. of Undercover Police & the lengths they will go to .

Their should be some good ones .

I'll start with this.

Many years ago their was a group of men dressed as Venture Scouts pretending they were orienteering in a City:sus:
They turned out to be Drug Squad.

Nah mate 100% they were even by the Post Office @ 9:00am on a Monday ffs .

They were rumbled by a junky that recognized one of them from a different city

What were they trying to do, catch small time drug addicts? Seems like a waste of police resources...

Nah back in the day benefits were paid by giro or order book so we all had to go to the P.O .
Or if like 99% of us you had a fraud conviction , you had to go in person to the Benefits office & get a P.I ( Personal Issue )

So everyday their would be people getting cash at the same place it's hard to explain how mad this was .
Imagine all the Convicts , addicts , Mentally ill all the poor folk in one place everyday then put money & drugs in the mix 8o

They were mad days loads of fights , stabbings etc cos we all new each others pay day .

The worst ever for mne was Minerva St. Glasgow . It opened doors at 6:30am so by 8:30 when things could start it was crazy .
The P.O over the road was owned by a gang so if you had a giro for their you had to pay tax or get beaten to fuk .
I had 1 payment from their & swiftly put it down my pants and cashed it uptown ( i only new to do this cos i was told. )

Of course the Police would know where to get anone on a warrent .

It was like this untill 4/5 years ago when they made almost everyone get a Bank acct . or a Post office acct.

Does anyone else remember the days of the Benefits Agency Order Books rtc ?

If so you must have some mad stories.
I've seen people stabbed for a fiver allsorts .

As i said imagine all the nuts & drug addicts of your City in the same place at the same time some with Loadsa £ some with none .

The B.A was a 1 stop shop for scoring you could turn up in any city in the U.K n head straight for the B.A if you had the need .Having a habit makes you do stuff you wouldn't dream of if you were straight.

Oh yeah i sometimes get misty eyed about those days cos you only remember the good times of your drug addiction not the hellish stuff.

Love old stories like those!

Yeah that was pretty mad.

Imagine being a worker at one of those benefits office or post office during those days.

Sounds very much like Openshaw, East Manchester a few years back. Chuck in the fact there was a pharmacy next to the PO, as well as two hostels, a couple of B&Bs and a care in the community residence and you got some really odd scenes. Just across the road was Howard Donald's parents' gaff too, so whenever he was due back you'd get an army of teenage girls camping out across the road. You get the picture.

As for undercover, afraid I've nothing to add, or at least nothing that tops the venture scouts.

Always used to get plain clothes at the free parties I used to go to local. Proper trousers and DM shoes, always asking all and sundry for drugs, they were fekin hilarious, the may as well have been in uniform.

Some bird at a Christmas do with another party asked a guy I knew for some drugs. He said no, then went to the toilet and got a wrap of mdma out of his boxers and sold it to her later on. She was super thankful for it and asked for his number. Then over the following weeks and months she escalated her buying to 8balls then ozs of weed, speed, mdma, and coke... then he got a knock on the door over it and now he's in prison. He got convicted of selling a wide variety of drugs in large quantities, when really he had just started out as one of those guys who sells tiny bits to cover his own usage whenever he felt like it. How they got away with that I really do not know. I'm sure if you ask any opportunist drug user to get you a big bit of something and offer them over the odds for it they will be walking on clouds to do it, so it's entrapment really...

police moved a fake couple - ie man and women into the area and got them to buy off the heroin dealer's & then try and source other drug's. around 10 people were arrested a few weeks later - mainly runabouts/street dealers. along with 1 person a little higher up in the chain. personally i couldnt give a toss about the bust's due to not being a heroin user! glad theyve been took off the streets but theres always some1 to replace them

?StoryTime With Brimz if you want

I've said it on here before that I'd love it if you would write a book. You got so many interesting tales from here and abroad and they are exactly the type of stuff I've always loved reading.
I've been into drugs for about 20 years now but I've not seen or experienced half the stuff you have.
Can't we tune in each day for another story, can call it 'Brimzanory'.

@ BRIMZ
I used to to get my this girl to scratch out the dates in my benefit book , and change them to what ever day I wished to cash
( every other ) remember in the back of the books you could fill in the details and cash your book in 2 post offices you wouldn't usually use ?
The little old dear in my post office just didnt remember me coming in everyday, I even scratched out and changed the month on a few occasion's.
When it all came on top because I used up all my checks and reported it stollen/lost , the benefit fraud mob called me in , I told them I owed , drug dealers money and they took my book .I also told them i was more scared of the drug dealers than them so I couldn't possibly tell them there names.
They issue'd me a new book next day and told me not to let anyone see cash it.
The good old days , free money, drugs for very little graft.

That bit i wrote wasn't a story as such just a very brief outline of life .

I can do one a week ok

keep you waiting & give me time to do it proper like ?

The good old days , free money, drugs for very little graft.

A guy I know spent a number of years as a 'new age traveller'. He told me he used to register for benefits in a few different towns under different names and pick up his free money from them every week. It was as easy as that, no documents required, no checks done on anything.
