Opioids plugging vs IV

Yeah I've always read 87% BA for oxycodone, but I guess that close enough to 90%. Oxycodone is just not worth shooting - no rush and is really not that different from oral use. I wouldn't plug it either, just a waste of time IMO.
 
i've never shot oxy but i can attest that it works really well oral. it's one opiate i never snorted, wheras with morphine this was my preferred ROA. back then i din't know shit about bioavailablity. it's too bad, because i had some high grade drugs and wasted a lot of morphine by ingesting it, which is a shitty ROA for morphine.
 
Morphine is a needle drug. If you don't shoot then it's best to leave it alone.

I guess one can plug it, but I personally don't plug any drugs.
 
I personally do not IV, however...

Morphine works great plugged, definitely not best left alone if not IV.

And also, even taken orally morphine is by far one of the most superior analgesics out there, saying that morphine is only good via IV is bullshit, both for abuse and therapeutic value. :) IV morphine however certainly is invaluable therapeutically and pretty unbeatable for abuse if you ask me.
 
I can't say it enough, oxycodone does not produce a real rush.

As for plugging, I think it's a wonderful alternative. I love to plug methadone and when I was on bupe, I completely stopped shooting subs once I realized that the rectal administration had the same onset and a much longer duration. With drugs like heroin/oxymorphone/dilaudid etc. I would just feel hesitant to plug cause I love the rush from IV so much. But honestly I'm thinking of giving it a try. When it takes you over ten minutes to find a vein, shooting really just isn't 'fun' anymore.
 
If you don't have a tolerance, just swallow the morphine or oxys. I've had the Oxys IR recently. They were ok, but 15mg x3 didn't really phase me. Pour some lemon juice on top of the pill for it to dissolve. After like 5-20 mins, break it up and then pour some water. crush more, filter and draw it up and have fun. But becareful with IV. only use if you don't have a tolerance.
 
Jesus do you use a 3mL barrel? According to this source, oxycodone dissolves at about 142 mg/mL (or 1 gram in 7mL). Why don't you use something stronger, that must be quite time consuming unless you have pure oxycodone powder or the OG OxyContin 80mg. I can't imagine grinding up 10 30 mg roxicodone's.

I really disagree. Morphine is often sold for dirt cheap, so even considering that you have to take 2-2.5x as much orally as IV, it still often comes out cheaper than oxycodone. Many people, including myself, prefer the more sedating morphine high and the longer duration to oxycodone anyway.

I guess one can plug it, but I personally don't plug any drugs.

LOL, what's this nonsense? "I guess"? Of course you can fucking plug it, you're smart enough to know that even if you don't do it yourself. It's great plugged, and many people don't share your distaste at getting their ass wet. I find IVing to be much more distasteful than pluging, but I don't go around saying "Well, I guess can IV heroin, (but eww!)".

^Mr Flowers, yes, buprenorphine taken rectally is exponentially more bioavailable than the sublingual ROA, so be sure to plug a lower dose than you're used to putting under your tongue.

I prefer morphine to oxycodone and just about every other opioid there is, save for heroin (which is a morphine prodrug, anyway so they are essentially the same). I just meant that morphine is an IV drug and if you are taking it in a different ROA then you aren't getting the most out of your morphine and likely wasting much of it (especially when taken orally). I agree that even when taken orally it is a great and euphoric opiate, but you waste so much of the drug through this ROA (I'm not into wasting my opiates, I dunno about you). Plugging is a good option, but it's not something that I would do.

BTW, your post had a real subtle rudeness to it. I didn't say plugging was "distasteful", I just said I personally wouldn't do it. I don't give two shits about what you think is distasteful or not.
 
i hate how threads get off topic i want more than one person to tell me whether or not plugging bupe is almost as good as IVing it
