im looking for anyone who has take ibogaine or 'ibogoa' as i hav a lot of issues in my life that need resolving and from reserch iv done ibogaine seems to be the way b/c my issues r emotional/spirtual e.t.c i need advice on dosage, setting and people to be there with you e.t.c :)

Don't mushrooms or oral DMT appeal? Ibogaine can be quite gruelling and unpleasant. Psilocybin taken regularly does have a very powerful anti-depressant effect and seems to improve your mindset for the better.

i would pick iboga. i have done it only in low dose but it lets me self analise like nothing else.
if you take a low dose alone would be best i would say but with bigger doses my understanding is that a sitter is mandatory.

I find psilocybin has phenomenal anti-depressive effects that can last up to two weeks, and LSD has a similar effect lasting 5 or 6 days (though psilocybin doesn't come with a hangover and insomnia). But ibogaine is reputed to cure some people of depression for life, from a single trip. Failing that, its anti-depressive effects can at least last for two or three months. Taking micro-doses, say 1g or less of bark root every day, also works as a natural, healthy anti-depressant. I intended to take ibogaine earlier this year; sadly, my supplier wasn't able to come through.

Ayahuasca, as you say, is also excellent for depression. Probably much better than mushrooms, though I only have one experience to go by in this case. I took such a small dose that it would compare to about a gram of mushrooms, and I still felt heaps better for the next two weeks. I find the mood effect is stronger depending on how strong the trip was, so I'd like to see if a proper dose of ayahuasca would have longer and more powerful after-effects.

I'd be reluctant to turn to ibogaine, when there are other avenues left unexplored. Let's not forget that there are fatalities associated with this stuff.

Plus, this stuff is no panacea. Novel or arcane treatment methods tend to develop sensationalist, over-enthusiastic cheerleading corps of supporters before science/proper studies catch up and shed proper perspective on their efficacy.

I'm not convinced one dose of any drug is all you need to cure your problems. Perhaps try a very low dose but a full-blown dose is something to take great care with and I wouldn't try it alone.

@low doses and self-analyzing: doesn't the very long duration wear you out? I mean even if that potential of iboga(ine) is good, isn't it too much of a good thing unless you need an absolutely killer dose of a 'good thing' because your situation is *that* bad?
