i've always wondered..

it blocks cortisol (which floods your body post cycle and is the main cause of muscle loss— right?). it also relaxes the muscles and makes the pituitary secret HGH just like GHB.

i've already got my clomid and i start on sunday 100/100/50/25 which i read is a pretty aggressive strategy to preventing gyno and "popping your balls back out" as my friend said. i've also got leftover exemestane in case things get rough (which i doubt). along with this i'm already running gw501516 and i heard resveratrol would be a good add on. no contraindications between any of these meds and supps so maybe is should throw a REALLY low dose, say .3 of a gram of pheni to lower cortisol. or am i just being paranoid?

i just really want to keep what i made of this cycle, it was pretty impressive!
 
No. Don't. It may block cortisol somewhat by "relieving stress" but it will lower Testosterone and in the long run you end up strung out or may get high a few times and do stupid shit. No barbituates. Narcotics have no fucking place in bodybuilding and only make things complicated. It doesn't cause HGH to be secreted as well.

I forget who the piece of shit was, but a pro bodybuilder long ago claimed Nubain was great for blocking cortisol and promoting HGH secretions. All that came of that was a few more junkies.

Same goes for GHB or any fucking narcotic touted for causing HGH secretions. It's really a load of shit. Sure they reduce stress by getting you high and they make you sleep better, but in the long run you will end up losing all your gains.

If you want HGH secretions, stick to GHRP's, HGH itself, Imaporelin (recommended due to causing a more natural release of HGH without any of the side effects HGH and other HGH releasing peptides have) and Hexarilin and be sure to get plenty of sleep.

You don't need Exemestane for PCT, never ever use it for PCT or you risk fucking up your hormone levels. All you need is Clomid for getting you testes to produce testosterone again and grow to full size Nolvadex to prevent gyno.

yeah, i totally get where you're coming from with the narcotics thing, i mean i had a friend who used to cortisol excuse with hydrocodone/codeine when in reality it was just an excuse to slack off.. that's not what i'm going for, i'm just pretty much scared of losing gains lol, which is why i was thinking of pheni (not as hardcore a drug like xanax or anything), but never mind just read that it will cause cortisol rebound upon ceasing dosing (along with dopamine rebound which can lead to psychosis).

tomorrow is my last day on cycle, i'm just hoping i don't lose any mass...
 
If you're scared of losing gains then your diet and training is obviously not where it needs to be.

well other than a cheapass test cycle this is the only cycle i've ever ran, never had gains this good, so i'm not very sure as to how much i'm supposed to lose. rule of thumb is 10% i've heard (with proper pct) but if i could have anything less than that, it'd be better.

my protein intake is fine (200-250 g ED, i weigh 220 and i gain weight pretty easily) and it's not all from whey either (got lots of fish and chicken in there, no red meat because of my HDL)... training is fine too, but i don't follow a simple schedule, so not putting the whole thing up haha
