Believe it or not the older users and regular users have an effect on the younger/newer users who want to fit in and keep up with the older hardcore users. I think it's called peer pressure? My parents told me not to smoke, but they smoked. Strange what kind of effect not leading by example can have on people isn't it?! I'm not trying to have a go, I just thought i'd point out that the HR slant of this (EADD) forum is contrived and false beyond giving basic advice. It's about a small group of people socialising. I would prefer it if you didn't step down. I think that the short comings you think you see aren't anything on some other mods, and you are one of the more reasonable people on here :) I am finding the self destruction very painful to watch with you, you are a very nice guy and a kind soul.
 
mods are on a do as i say not do as i do policy - i don't think they should be criticized for having as much fun as the rest of us as long as they give out sound HR advice. if you are in any way influenced to take loads of drugs because you've read about what a mods on a drugs forum has taken at the weekend in the Friday thread then you need to get a head check!

the popularity of EADD probably has something to do with the fact many users to UK BL don't even know EADD exists, they come here to the focus forum.. see the first thread titled"canz i take Rollstacy at teh same tiem as wering a hatz" and instantly fuck off because they don't get the american centric lingo that exists all over BL, what kind of place would this be if we only modded people who took 1 E every 14 weeks?
 
I don't really mind that the mods behave like that I just don't think HR is not leading by example. I see a reasonably clear line that is well and truly crossed by many into drug abuse rather than drug use. I don't know, maybe sensible health orientated drug use is wishful thinking? I definitely think this has an effect on some younger people though. I can see that this forum might be glossed over, but this forum is rather empty i'm sure you'll agree? All the other subforums who cater to similar population sizes, like Australian drug discussion, have way way more members, and it doesn't have the cliquey atmosphere that must be tolerated by non-clique members. It must seem quite unapproachable to lurkers and outsiders.

I already said it was a particularly bad time for me, I bucked my ideas up sharpish. I mistakenly thought you behaved like cunts but were there for people when they needed it, when really you're just cunts. Lesson learned. I was still new then.

I stick by the entirity of that post still Marmalade btw. Most of you (your clique mostly) don't give a flying shit about anyone but yourselves. I deleted it because I came back, it seemed stupid for it to be there. I realised largely because of another user who left, who you coincidently bullied back off the forum a little while ago. And you did it in pretty much the same way you are treating me now... And you say you aren't trying to be a dick! Hahaha. You couldn't be more of a cunt if you tried. Erm, things external to the forum have an effect on my behaviour. You heard it here first folks. All of these things happened in the space of like 2 years of posting? But hey, you really are the kind caring person trying to just figure out the world and understand a little bit of yourself you make out to be! Hahaha.

Recognise the fact that you have these unresolved issues, and try and find acceptance that they may remain for ever unresolved. This is the internet. Despite your moral high ground, superior politics, devotion to statistics and six figure salary - you still can't control EADD.

I'm investing nothing emotional in someone who admits to bullshitting and posting disengenuous opinions for their own amusement.

and I certainly don't pander to sociopathic pleas for sympathy. fuck off with that nonsense.

I have no wish to control EADD. I'm just pointing out that the saints of the clique are really quite vile and horrible people. They have bullied and been vultures to more people than I care to count, and the ones with thinner skin have left. You don't seem to understand that a group of individuals doing that is just disgusting, and can have an effect on some people. I state an opinion, they go mental. It's a simple escalation of events.

Why do you perceive it as a plea for sympathy? I'm showing you that you are by no means the person you think you are. You aren't just horrible to me, and earlier on in this very thread you lied your arse off about doing it even if you hold your hands up now! Fucking hell, please get a bun in the oven before you go totally baron so we don't have to put up with your bitterness for however many years you decide to stick around. I don't give a shit if you 'aren't going to invest anything emotional' or whatever bullshit you convince yourself you're doing, please just inflict yourself on a child and not me. At least get a fucking cat, so we get some respite?
