According to your link he's being prosecuted with intent to distribute which is why I specifically said simple possession. 307g of mephedrone was not what I was talking about. I'm aware of a fair number of internet vendors that have been arrested for violations of the FAA.

It's impossible to tell from the article whether he was charged under Colorado law or the FAA but a little research on google indicates that he was a vendor selling RCs. What I find especially amusing though is that one of the federal cases was in Colorado and the district court found the FAA to be unconstitutionally vague and therefore void. Makes me think that he's not being charged under federal law. Or the prosecutor is an idiot.

Turns out he was a mephedrone vendor that was advertising on a web site that proclaimed it was about "legal highs." That and the fact it was over 1oz meant it was quite legal for Postal Inspector to start the prosecution process by opening a box going to his house. And advertising on a "legal highs" site = proof if intent for human consumption AND proof of trafficking. So the guy was blatantly violating the rules of the analogue law. And having product shipped to his home. Pretty stupid but he screwed himself.

The latter makes it pretty puzzling... his lawyers could argue that the federal law was declared void in Colorado and therefore so was the identical Colorado law.

I say prosecutor is an idiot is the answer. Unless they thought of that and have a strategy to get around that and this is a deliberate ploy to be used to reinstate the applicability of both Colorado and FAA law.
 
I know I've responded to this thread already but I've tried some new things since. The reason I'm into RCs is because I got ass raped by the law and I'm currently getting drug tested and will be for the next three years. I had two choices. I could have either given up on drugs or switched to RCs. I have to say that I didn't expect much from RCs at first but I've now got to the point where I don't feel like I'm at a disadvantage. Sure, I miss some of the illegal ones, but if I had to switch back, I would miss the RCs I have now almost as much. Most illegal drugs that are popular today started as legal RCs, although no one used the RC euphemism until recently. After all, there was a time when you could call a 1-800 number and buy MDMA with your credit card through the phone. Not much different than how RCs are now. The best RCs of today will live on as the illegal drugs of tomorrow. Mephedrone is illegal in most of europe, yet it has found it's way onto the black market. Anyway, my top five are:

1. MDAI: This might seem weird since most people don't seem to be too crazy about this one. However, the pure stuff I get is almost indistinguishable from MDMA to me, except for there is no stimulation. I also mix it with kratom (I know, I'm weird) but I can't imagine that the kratom does much of the work. I bought it expecting little and I ended up finding something awesome. I'd say it's 80%-90% as good as MDMA to me. It also isn't neurotoxic as far as anyone can tell and I feel fine the next day. It's legal in the US and isn't an analogue to anything illegal, although I suppose the DEA could try to say it is because they suck.

2. Methylone: I've only tried it once in combination with MDAI because it causes a false positive on my tests. It's similar MDMA but it isn't quite as magical. This is probably because it only releases 20% the serotonin that MDMA does. It's basically everything that MDAI isn't. MDAI and methylone together are great and are as close to MDMA as I've felt from RCs. It is a blatant analogue though, but you're more likely to get struck by lightning than get prosecuted under the analogue act. Just don't walk around with it in gel caps, as that makes it obvious that it is for human consumption.

3. JWH-122: Of all the other JWHs that I've tried (018, 250, RCS-8), it is by far the best. The dose is tiny (2-3mg) and it lasts way longer than the other JWH's. That dose lasts around 1.5 hours and one time I used too much (around 4-5 mg) and I was stoned for three hours which is on par with THC. It's also more euphoric than 250. If you want to go down the synthetic cannabinoid route, 122 is the way to go. And since they never actually made 018 and some others illegal, it's not even an analogue atm. And if those do get made illegal, 250, 203, and probably some others are different enough not to be analogues.

4. Methoxetamine: This is the first dissociative that I've used other than nitrous so I don't have much to compare it to. I've also never taken it past 30 mg, although I probably will soon. Still, it's great for a chill evening of insanity, fun, and music. It's feels easy on the body, as there is minimal discomfort and the comedown is fine. And not only is there no hangover, but there is a mild mood lift the next day. All and all, it is a great drug, although it would only be suitable for a party in low doses imo. Since it is an analogue to ketamine and ketamine is schedule III, it is not covered by the analogue act as the analogue act only applies to schedule I and II drugs.

5. 5-meO-DALT: It's kind of like tripping light. It only lasts for a few hours and there are minimal visuals. The come up can cause some nausea, but it settles out into a nice, pleasant trip. It isn't a full blown journey like mushrooms or LSD, but it is nice if you're chilling with friends or alone and just feel like having a weird, enjoyable night.
 
I've never met a synthetic cannabinoid I didn't like. Although unfortunately I never knew which ones I was taking, I've only ever had the opportunity to buy the incense blends and such. I have to agree with everyone here that 2ce is quite grand. I enjoyed the length of the trip and the hallucinations. The body load was strange, in an interesting kind of way. And, all it left me with the next day was a bad headache, which i could understand given the chemical families involved. I'm really interested in methoxetamine, but I've just heard it can be physically addictive. I'd like to see more evidence supporting or refuting this. Maybe I just haven't read enough.

I can find nothing on 25CNOMBe, but I'd love to learn about it. rcs aren't popular at all around me right now, so i haven't gotten into much.
 
Just curious, does anyone know if 4 aco dmt is legal in the US? I've been reading about it and it looks like it might be worth working with, but I'm not willing to take any chances that could get me in trouble. Found a lab online that made it at one time, but again, I'm not too keen on ordering something that might get me in trouble. Thanks in advance and i welcome any and all suggestions and information. 4-AcO-DMT beats everything. It's the best psychedelic I've ever used and I've learned to love and cherish it. Not even shrooms or LSD feels so "intimate", 4-AcO-DMT is like a projectile that goes straight into you heart and fills you with awe, spiritual experiences, love, euphoria, entity contact (with very high doses), fantastic visuals, I could go on forever. Initially I disliked its strong sedating effects, but know I've learned to love it. Granted, I don't move around much and explore things like with more stimulating psychedelics, I talk and walk like I would be extremely drunk, but it's not annoying anymore. Just part of the experience. It's a quite introspective drug and not especially social, I feel it's very intimate and personal experience, a reason I've gained lots of insight about myself on it.

I also have to mention 4-HO-DPT. Totally different than the psilocin analogues (and all other 4-subs except its twin 4-AcO-DPT). Leaning more towards DPT but still being very different from DPT. Ego-killer stuff. Even moderate doses usually result in ego death. A quite "serious" psychedelic without much recreational value. Very introspective and deep. Unique and awesome visuals, not as generic as most 4-subs.
 
4-ho-mipt is really very nice. wonderful headspace. probably my favorite.
25c-nbome has an amaaazinggg body high, better than 25i or methylone for that matter.

JGG - Very nice. They quote this stuff as 0.50mg as a recommended dose. I personally go for 500mg and this is perfect.

i'm going to assume you mean that 50 mg is a recommended dose because taking 1000x the normal dosage of anything is kinda crazy

QFT. It is intimate, but at the same time I love taking it with friends, as it only brings us closer due to the shared experience. And although it is sedating, there are points in every trip where I want to walk around and immerse myself in nature. This is easily my favorite RC.

i'm going to assume you mean that 50 mg is a recommended dose because taking 1000x the normal dosage of anything is kinda crazy

Both of those are wonderful. Other profs of 4-ho-mipt: MDMA like body high, the best music enhancement I've ever experienced, and no nausea even with insufflation.

25c-nbome indeed has a wonderful body high also reminiscent of MDMA but with a more distinctly phenethylamine quality to it than 4-ho-mipt. Not as many giggles as 4-ho-mipt though.
 
I really enjoy MDAI - it's not a good as MDMA but it works and it feels really nice to me - slightly trippy and gently euphoric. For me it enhances music almost as much as MDMA, especially in combination with weed. I always have a good time when I take it.

MXE - If that's still legal in the US (banned here in the UK now) then check it out - dissociatives aren't everyone's bag but it is an undeniably effective drug of this class.

Those are the two rcs that have worked for me in the last few years. 5-MeO-Dalt I can't get on with, etaqualone seems entirely inactive to me, etizolam's nice but hugely addictive like all benzos.

I haven't tried AMT or 6-APB but if they're legal in the US right now you might want to have a go, they seem very popular.
