My wife has been suffering from depression and paranoia since she experienced a traumatic event 2 years ago. She has seen psychiatrists, psychologists, neurologists however nothing seems to work. She has lost faith and trust in other people. She is afraid and scared and she cannot get over what happened. Before this incident she was like a child, innocent, happy, constantly smiling and saying to me "the world is a miracle" however now she has lost all interest in the world. I have been reading about how MDMA in the right setting can help people with PTSD. I live in a village in Greece where it is impossible to buy and type of drugs which means I will have to travel a long way to find it. Do you think it is worth the risk and effort? Do you think that MDMA can help?

thanks

Mdma does have some very therapeutic value look in to what Ann Shulgin says about it she has written quite a bit on it. It cant be to terribly hard to find some in Greece check for dubstep or most electric dance music concerts(i hope that isn't sourcing because it a pretty known fact already and not specific).

Welcome to Bluelight and good luck!

thanks for getting back to me, unfortunately I live in a village on a quiet island in Greece that doesnt have that type of music scene. I will have to fly to Athens, but my concern is that I wont get the pure MDMA but some other substance which may make things worse and then my wife would not want to try it again. How can I tell if its pure MDMA or not? thanks

All I can say is, if your going to do this, make sure that you do it properly.
You need to obtain pure mdma that isnt likely to be cut with anything bad.

You will need to get your hands on various regeant test kits and also be aware that there is an option for you to send your sample you may obtain off to ecstasy data or the likes to get it tested to ensure what it is, is pure mdma.
However, that will come at a fair price.

You say that your wife has been through all the other treatment options i would recommend first of all.
Best of luck with whatever you may decide to do, and if you do go through with it hope that your wife ends up back in a similar frame of mind before the incident.

Please be aware As you mentioned your concern with getting the wrong chemical yourself, there are SO many different adulterants and potentially lethal chemicals and cuts (PMA for example) out there.

If you are successful on finding some pure mdma, PM me and i will go through how i think is the smoothest way to use mdma.

if you do manage to get some MDMA and you do try this, you should make a thread telling us all how it went.

you have come to the right place but, first of all, have you ever tried MDMA?

if you have experience with this chem, probably you will help her with no doubt about it, but if you do not know how MDMA hits and function, well my mate the probabilities of helping her are less.. so be extra careful especially when getting illegal drugs especially for 2 reasons, the law and the chemical adulterants.
The Netherlands is the only place in earth you could get pure stuff of what you are looking for, but they don't sell it at drug stores so you will have to deal with out law people, not an easy thing..and as I said before there are a lot of research chemicals that emulate MDMA and are shit

Have your tried PROZAC? it's legal and probably more safety than trying to get some pure MDMA..

i dont know about its theuraputic properties but 6 apb is a similar chemical to MDA which is similar to MDMA. and it can be purchased online and sent to your home in Greece

i know its a bit of a leap to say well this is similar to this and that is similar to what your looking for but perhaps its worth looking into
its not particularly expensive

atleast worth a shot imo, if you have to travel just for the possibility of finding something that might or might not be legit

just my .02 tho

This is really a shame imo
I feel for you and your wife, mdma has potential to help millions of people around the world in all kinds of ways, only to be held back by a bull shit drug war and robbed of ever having any real research done on it to determine what it possibly could help

I will try answer all your questiosn here.

1. I have never tried MDMA nor has my wife. My idea was that I would procure 3 pills, take one myself before to see if it was okay and then take one together with my wife.
2. My wife hasnt tried Prozac, but she did try some other anti depressents for a while and then she stopped because she felt that they were not helping.
3. I live in a village on one of the largest Greek islands, its about 45 minute drive to the nearest town which has a population of about 20k people, which is where I use to go with my wife to see psychiatrists, psychologists, neurologists. Its not a large city but it does have access to private doctors.
4. She is currently taking 5HTP, Vitamin C, B3, B6 and B12, Omega 3 oil, St johns wort and Magnesium supplements

Thank you all for your help and understanding.

Hey, thanks for the feedback,
Have you tried with weed? I know is very annoying to read all the have you tried questions, but I do have to ask because weed is my personal soul healer, my medicine for this crazy mind, it set me in balance everyday, mental equilibrium.. it let me see all the bad things of my life, from another perspective, with more hope and positivism.
But this is my case, and I know cannabis is not for everybody.
what a pity your situation
I'm feeling like making a packing with a small magical flower and 3 good pills and send them via courier to you...

Given you can actually get relatively pure (+/- 84%) MDMA, I am almost 100% certain that your wife will be helped, or at least is gently shown how she can help herself.

MDAI is the non-neurotoxic, sometimes legal alternative, which can also be sent to your home. I've tried both myself and *would* think they are both suitable for psychotherapy. Although I have to say MDAI maybe needs a bit more of a psychological push/motivation, which the MDMA probably gives through dopamine. But I'm sure if you really want, the same push can be "forced" from within, using MDAI.

I kind of have been in the situation as your wife, and although MDMA showed me how to enjoy things again, it was 4HO-DET that gave my life direction. But that's a whole other game.

I hope all goes well !

I thought St John's Wort worked through serotonin receptors. Wouldn't using MDMA with it have the potential of causing Serotonin Snydrome? much like Prozac et al.?

I'm not sure of this, just worth considering IMHO.

^ I doubt it, they're not going to be using it to get high, if anything I'm sure he will give her a small dose first off and see how it goes, iirc serotonin syndrome doesn't start until after you've abused mdma a lot

I will try answer all your questiosn here.

If possible avoid pills and try to obtain crystal mdma, the slang name for it is molly/mandy
The pills are usually more cut with other speedy additives and what not

If you've never heard of crystal mdma, I'd suggest doing a search here on BL and research it fully before hand
Plus the pure mdma is a lot better, hardly any come down, no next day hang overs or anything, especially if it's a light dose it will be nice and easy and I almost know your wife could benefit from it

Beside the hole MDMA thing, you could maybe consider passion flower tea ?
It's sometimes used for this purpose.

Personally I don't think you should try this without getting some prior experience of mdma yourself or having an experienced user present.
I have no idea of what the traumatic event was, but you should consider the possibility of things going wrong as well.
If you are both unfamiliar with the effects of the drug you will not be able to reliably guide her through the first hour.
Possible reactions include vomiting and anxiety until the mdma takes full effect.
The vomiting passes but anxiety, if it becomes severe, is difficult to come out of.

and just so you know he's not on about getting his wife to do MDMA everyday as some kind of anti-depressant, he's talking about using one therapeutic session, maybe a couple over a period of a few months, to attempt to work through her problems and heal the emotional damage from whatever caused her PTSD.
