Can my body handle opiate withdrawl?

^ Do you have access to lyrica, instead of neurontin by any chance?
I always found lyrica helped way better for wd symptoms

I guess you have no choice other than to ride it out, usually day 2, 3 , and sometimes the 4th day or the worst
Just try to keep your mind busy some how, it helps

Lyrica is excellent indeed, weed can also help you take your mind off the WDs, but as already said and confirmed by others, take a hefty dose of loperamide, and 3 hours later the WDs will be gone and you won't feel like shit anymore.

Trust us on this, there's even a megathread here on BL that supports this unlikely claim. Soma and NSAIDs should keep the pain manageable until your next refill.

I could ask for a prescription for Lyrica and probably get it, and also I agree with the lope and Ibuprofen helping a lot. I took 6 pills (10mg) 2 hours ago and an ibuprofen and i truly am feeling better.

Glad to hear it :)

If 10mg lope are already helping, you're probably already past the worst part of the WDs. See how you feel in 24 hours, and dose another 10mg if necessary, the day after that you'll be through completely, and you don't even have to taper the lope if you took only 20mg total in 48 hours. Maybe some sneezing, sniffing and stretching could still occur, those are the symptoms that last the longest in my case, but your mileage may vary. Oh, and the shits may resurface, but those should be preventable with normal doses of lope, 2-4mg, just as recommended.

Regarding the lyrica, go for it if possible. That stuff is useful not only when withdrawing, but also has some recreational value, I recently took a 200mg tab a friend gave me to test, and having no tolerance to pregabalin, it provided a remarkable mood lift along with a very nice and cuddly bodyfeeling. In that regard, neurontin can't compete (must have something to do with the different metabolic paths). Very nice to have around imo, I should try and get some more as well ;)

Do not try to get more before you are due for a refill. At 18 they are going to scrutinize everything you do. Also, id hide your pills somewhere safe if you have people you dont know come in your house a lot

I agree. I'm not going to be on asprin for pain. I'll just wait it out until the 7th.
