22-year-old man in Waco, Texas was arrested on Monday after a bizarre episode in which police claim he tried to eat his family’s dog in a “zombie style” attack.

Michael Terron Daniel was charged with felony animal cruelty after an unnamed caller told police he was “going crazy” at his family home on Monday night around 6:30 p.m.

A document provided to Raw Story (PDF) by the Waco Police Department claims Daniel “is believed to have assaulted several people at the home” after telling them he was “on a bad trip” after using a herbal incense product known as K2, more commonly known as a type of “synthetic marijuana.”

“Mr. Daniel then ran into the yard where he was observed to get on his hands and knees and chased a neighbor while barking and growling like a dog,” police said. “Mr. Daniel was then observed to take a live medium sized, black dog onto the front porch where he began to strike the dog, strangle the dog and began to bite into the dog ripping pieces of flesh away from the animal. The dog died at the scene.”

I don't honestly believe "K2" ever really existed. One company at a gas station probably sprayed some leaves with some flavor and JWH-018 a few years ago and then online companies started exploiting it and selling their stuff as K2 as well, because they knew 15-year-olds would buy the brand that gets the publicity.

TL;DR it shouldn't be legal to call it K2 because everything in this market is different.

Ok I'm convinced that they're just making it up at this stage. This is even more absurd than the shit they used to say about black people on coke or PCP.

Isn't one of the first warning signs of a psychopath killing small animals for fun? If you kill anything for fun, you're a sick son of a bitch who should be locked away.
 
Id be willing to bet every person in these biting cases had prior mental issues.
 
it is very obvious now that the authorities/news agency's are capitalizing on this silly fear of "zombies" to push their anti drug agendas (much like reefer madness) and to also make headlines that people will talk about. the amount of zombie attacks that are happening lately are ridiculous especially when these drugs have been around for some time and such things have not been reported before now. not to mention in most of these incidents the headlines usually read "believed to be on bath salts" mainly because they have no fucking proof they were on anything

I remember freshman philosophy and the neverending arguments this would engender.

I've accepted that society is dependent on the meat of these animals and that I am also dependent, and that my predilections require sentient animals to be deprived of life.

But I don't enjoy their killing.

That's the difference between a carnivore and a person who hunts for sport.
 
wow, never thought research chems would contribute to more gruesome propaganda than the PCP-craze of the 1980's & 90's. all these recent news stories will surely make the drug books in elementary school libraries so much more interesting someday - after being twisted, exaggerated and in some cases completely fabricated, of course.

seems only proper to mourn the dogs' loss with a gargantuan line off this mound of peevee & a bong rip of spice, right??
 
Dude probably just had the munchies. JWH and similar compounds can give you serious munchies.

But seriously, this shit is getting old. There is no drug out there that makes people eat people, and synthetic cannabinoids are not even close. Some people are just nuts. If someone is extremely mentally disturbed, uses a drug, then does something insane, the drug will always be blamed.
