Opioids tramadol dosing

just bought a 10 dollar bottle of 50 x 50 mg pills. no NSAIDs.

i'm a 220 pound male, mostly muscle, i'm also taking mebolazine and testosterone. as far as i know, tramadol on it's own isn't hepatotoxic right?

so basically is it safe to take on cycle? if so, what's the average rec. dose?

Take 1 to test the waters, then titrate your dose by 50mg increments. Don't exceed 200mg unless you have a high opiate tolerance. Be careful though, cause with tramadol there's a seizure risk.

never had a seizure although i've heard test. and the anabolics will increase the risk so below 200 it is! i suppose i'll shoot for 150 mg

most i've taken at once was 75 and i've gotten NICE effects off of that much. comparable to hydrocodone at the 15 mg mark but not so warm and fuzzy, more like borderline trippy.

i s'pose i'll just take 3-4 capsules tomorrow, as i've gotta get some rest. any more info i'd need to know on this compound (interactions with food mostly) would be appreciated, and thanks brother!

As with any drug, its most effective taken on an empty stomach, and as far as I know, there is no reaction with any type of food. I've only taken it once, with xanax, and only 50mg, so I can't really give you much info on it. It's sort of like the ford fiesta of opiates from what I've heard, really shitty feeling with tons of nausea and headaches. It also causes insomnia, so be prepared for that, and be safe

Tramadol on an empty stomach can cause really bad nausea so I'd exercise caution with that. Although seizures have been known to happen at low doses, its usually above the 400mg mark where the risk really becomes apparent. If its your first time I'd take 100mg, wait an hour and take another 50mg if you feel ok and so on. No More than 400mg in 24 hours, and steer clear of stimulants and anything else that has seretonin releasing effects.

My typical dose its 150mg. The narcotic effect takes like 3 hours to come. For a better effect always take it with repeated doses between 20-30 minutes, not all at once.

it's only 1:40 here so i'm thinking about downing this with a protein shake, so as to be on a light stomach and just in case i'll take 200 mg, like realxsalo said, i've always had the effects 2 hours or so later when i took them so by then my stomach will be clear anyway

As people already pointed out, tramadol lowers the seizure threshold - the general guideline is not to exceed 400mg, but many people report getting strange nerve spasms and other "twitchy" activity at lower doses.

I'd test 50mg to make sure you're not hypersensitive and don't get an adverse reaction. If that turns out okay, I would do the following:

1. Dose 150mg (or maybe 100 would be enough, but at 220lbs I'd probably go straight for 150).

2. After about an hour, gauge your condition and see if you want to take more. If so, boost your dose in 50mg increments, waiting at least 30 minutes between doses. Most people hit a sweet spot around 200-350mg, after which unpleasant side effects start becoming more pronounced.

Not only do you gradually reach your wanted dose without a great risk of taking too much, too much, tramadol has increased bioavailability and metabolism into the far more potent O-desmethyltramadol if there is already tramadol present in your system.
