Been trying to get on Bluelight this evening but kept getting server busy message.
Now I'm on here forgot what I was gonna say and am now gonna retire to my boudoir.

It was my brothers birthday yesterday, was meant to be picking him up from the pub but fell asleep and didn't hear his texts leaving him to walk 2 miles along an A road with no pavement in the pissing rain at midnight. Feel like the biggest arsehole imaginable :(
 
It's unfortunate but I wouldn't dwell on it and beat yourself up too much. Did he have a good time? That's the important thing.

I know I'd be in a state where a two-mile walk in the rain might do me some good!

Nowt but rain here too. A bit of wind for good measure too. Summer is really starting with a whimper.

Careful with that rush, whatever it may be. Though I'm pretty sure I have a clue. Should lift the gloom a little though, that for sure.
 
yup, same here. just watched the weather and it's going to be the same tomorrow, and probably the same for the weekend.

could do with July to be hot, then tons of rain at the backend of august and through september for a bumper shroom crop come october/november
 
It's still weeks till the young 'uns are off school isn't it? I'm getting a dog day vibe from the fading light though. And not in a good way.

Worse still, the women of Manchester have wisely (yet unfortunately) chosen to wear sensible clothing because of it. Bollocks to that.
 
Its Police Day I swear they be everywhere since i opened my eyes .

They even have a Helicopter out it's mad .

This ain't just the paranoid rantings of a druggy this is real .
That was mad getting woken by the Police bashing the door down across the road , i thought it sounded like a Basketball then i looked out n saw a gang of D.S

Don't! It breaks my heart every year. More so rather than less. I can remember a school assembly near the time I was leaving where a teacher said exactly the same thing. Over time his words have taken on more significance poignancy - the horrible little fucker was right, more or less, it really is all downhill.

Oddly enough, the city centre was absolutely full of cop cars this morning. More so than is usual for Manchester.

Of all the things one needs to make and do a Snowball the filter is H/R wise one of the most important so i must get one .

Ah, don't worry. I sort of revel in low-level gloominess. Makes me feel like I'm really deep and that, rather than a slightly-grumpy dosser. ;)
