99% of my posts are on topic , but if someone's talking bollocks I feel obliged to say somthing.

And as for Dr brewer , they broke the mold with him. I know a fella who was on 600 mill of jollop and 80 mill of valls, stapelford was drug bazaar in it's day.

I better not write to much more just in case trip 2 the moon calls me a lying CUNT !

Thanks Charlie I done a bit of research when I scored earlier and it turns out that could be the first honest thing he's said.

Back in January my mate Stevie died. I called his girlfriend to score and she said there's a paramedic here we're just waiting on a real ambulance and we've been waiting half an hour so by the time you get here they should be gone. Normally a 20min walk so I take a slow saunter along and 30 min later the paramedic is still there. My mate was up there in the living room with Stevie and the paramedic (Stevie's bed was in the living room). Stevie was complaining of severe neck pains and couldn't move. I called his girl to say I was outside and what should I do so she quietly sneeked me into the back bedroom and said she'd be about an hour away getting the gear. I had my DS to kill the time. When the paramedic found out about Stevie's addiction and that he'd had a bag earlier he refused any pain relief and pretty much didn't want to know. I heard him radio the ambulance dispatch a couple of times but it was treated as a non emergency case and they'd get him when they get him. From their flat the hospital is a 5min drive or about 2 if you are an emergency service. At one point I heard my mate say to the paramedic lets try to get him to the car ourselves. When they tried this Stevie let out a scream like something from horror movie. When his girl got back she was shocked to find Stevie still there. So she sorted us out an we left.

At 2:30am my mate called to say Stevie's heart had stopped and it turned out that the ambulance didn't appear for another 2 hours after we left giving a wait time of just over 4 hours. Found out today from another mate that the police have been investigating and to use their words his body was "swimming" with heroin (have to laugh at a tenner bag being called that). Now they are looking for someone to pin a culpable homicide on the person who gave him the hit that day now that they've decided that the 4 hour ambulance wait didn't have anything to do with it. When the paramedic found out Stevie was an addict he didn't want to know and told his dispatch that it wasn't a real emergency. I don't know what killed him but I'm sure the 4 hour wait didn't help. Dirty bastards. Don't mention your addiction until you are in the hospital. Sorry for tl;dr.

600mls of methadone!!! Holy crap thats inane!!! The poor bloke, imagine trying to ever get off methadone if your body has built up such a massive tolerance!!! Jaysus i'm dreading dropping from 60mls to 55mls, but imagine how daunting it would be dropping from 600mls! You drop to 595mls, then to 590mls, 585mls.... ugh!!! 8(
 
Whats the most gear someone has smoked thro' a tooter before opening it up ? I dont think Ive done more than a g or so even when i got piles of the stuff

BLondin, when it comes to my tubes I'm the most anal cunt in the world , I have my indoors tube and my works tube ( that stays in the van ) I keep my indoors one till it's pritty much blocked or I run out of gear, what ever comes first , but god fucking help anyone that touches them , my mrs can help herself to money, gear, but touch my tube and there's going be some major fucking trouble.
I know it sounds crackerjack and I proberbly am a bit touched , but it's my tube and I don't want no other cunt using it.
There's no better felling when your out of gear and you unwrap your tube and melt out a fucking great beetle That weighs about a gram.

Anyway it's pissing with rain I'm sat in me van , so I really should get my work tube out.

+1 at Strungout There are lots of folk who still are on those amounts - but it doesnt have to be juice , I get pills 5mgs and he also use to script amps as well - do your research before you post as you really are making a prat out of your self

Yeah, the english police will allow DHC and diazepam to be administered in custody suites for the symptomatic relief of w/d but not methadone, Something about being unable to prescribe class a drugs. Ironic as how theres probably more of them in police stations than anywhere else

I went to that Clinic when Colin Brewer was on the staff i also remember watching a GoVT. select on the BBC Parliament channel with him & others advising the then Blair Govt.
I saw Dr Tovey & he looked after me for a short while , Dodgy bow tie wearer that he is .
Really slippery sort of guy he came across but he did what i needed at the time & with haste that you could only get private.

These days mind you can get a Met/ Sub cript within weeks on the NHS .
Who remembers when the lists were about a year sometimes.
You would have to wait for someone to die or get kicked out.

Theoretically there's no 'upper limit' for opioid dosing if you've been taking them long enough to develop the right tolerance, so I don't see 600mg of methadone being so absurd. I know a bloke who took 400mg in one dose once and he was fine, so presumably going up to 600 with daily use isn't somehow impossible.

What does seem weird is that people report that once you get into those upper three figure doses even a massive increase over your regular dose doesn't do much for pain relief or sedation, which is weird. I've heard of people getting high tolerances to other opiates, but never so high that they literally can't get proper opiate effects no matter how much they dose, even those who are doing massive 600+ a day doses of oxy or morphine, or gram + a day of heroin, say they can get high if they increase sufficiently over their maintenance dose. but it sounds like once you hit a certain stage with methadone it just keeps you from getting sick no matter how much further you go with it. Would be interesting to see a study into that.

Anyway, I'm rambling, but 600mg isn't impossible at all. So much bitching and bickering in this thread, it's like high school.
