Dunno if its just my health authority, but my x-rays come up imediately on a pooter screen, I can see them instantly, then when I trundle up to the consultant he has them on his screen...i see a physio (at a different hospital)the next day, he has access to all my x-rays too, my GP calls my x-rays and scans up in an instant too...I assumed this was a national thing.
 
i'd say x rays are done with some sort of data logger digital camera thing that is sensitive to x rays rather than lightrays . anyone asleep yet? medical imaging eh,,,mighty altogether

yep it was a mystery to me when my son broke his arm

I went to an N.A meeting for the first time in my life tonight. It was brilliant.. nothing like I expected. The woman who was taking the group had been on smack and crack for 12 years. Shes been 'clean' for 5 years and her life has been completely changed around. Bloody strong woman.
 
I'm not sure how the technology works but everywhere has the images appear on computers instantly now as far as I am aware.. it might vary from place to place as to whether GPs can pull them up easily though. CTs are basically glorified x-rays :)

I like ultrasound too Yella, MRI is the really cool one though %) glad NA went well <3

Evenin' EADDerz, hope you're all well! Am looking after my nan as she's had a minor stroke so not had the chance to pop in much, plus her laptop is the slowest thing in the world.. probably going to be here all week, she's really frail and confused :( hope she picks up or we're going to have to think about a residential home and she would hate that so much.. bleugh.
 
I have to be up early tomorrow but I slept till 2pm today so it's not going to happen.
 
haha nah im not, just lacking friends over here, seriously man i got my mum n bro and im pissing them both off because im not the fun guy i was when i left, obv having yer life ripped from under you and relocate back to where i didnt wanna go means i should be happy and join in :/

planning on moving bk to devon on friday, got somewhere to stay for 80 a month till i find me feet, still got a full time job, things could be ALOT worse
