lets share your stories of life in prison and cop shop cells (happy sad shocking )

Hello Ladies & Gentleman!

On the 27th it's looking highly likely i'll be going to prison: for breaching my probation & not turning up for community service. (the original charge being criminal damage) Thing is all the times i've missed it is because ive been at doctors appointments & i've even handed in letters of disclosure from my GP to prove it.

Thing is i've had "too many acceptable absences", to my probation guy i was like 'i'm not being funny but if they're acceptable then what's the problem?' Well apparently if you have more than 6 you're returned to court, but i've had over a dozen & have only now been returned to court...??

My solicitor seems to think i may be able to get out of doing prison on something called a d.r.r? As i'm on methadone & valium & have been having multiple health problems recently.

My question? Can anybody shed some light on this d.r.r thing? Has anybody here done one???

Also, if i were to go to the big house is there like some kind of program i can get into for prisoners who wish to study while locked up? I'd like to make the most of my time if i'm gonna be wasting my life in a goddamn prison.

The entire American prison system is rotten to the core and the more private prisons are built the more we're getting like there. This is old but still scary:

Judge gives a non violent offender life. Sends him to private prison for life and the company who owns the prison now has a non violent offender to work for them in what ever they sub contract the prison out for a few dollars a day and the judge gets a nice bonus from the company who owns the prison.

The whole free strikes thing is disgusting.

Yeah, that's what the wankers say to you but they NEVER expire! Why would it EVER show up on a CRB if it had truly 'expired'?

About the private prisons thing - yeah, that's the way it's all going in the UK, it's already privately staffed. It's all about money, like everything.

I've spent plenty of nights in the cells at the cop shop but never been inside. Every cop or CID I've ever had interview me have been thick as fuck, you can run rings around their attempts at questioning! And they love me for it, lol. Anyway, IMO you've gotta have summat wrong in the head if you wanna be a professional cunt for a living. The bastards DO love to see you suffer when they know ur on a script or a drug user. Fucking scumbags, I've heard of them having bets as to how long it's gonna take for you to have ur 1st bout of the shits. Just to release you after 23 hours and 59 minutes without charge.

It's the shitty cheap suits and brill cream that really get me. They look like car salesmen rejects. And strangely enough they don't like being told it either. They also aren't fans of you insinuating that they took the job because they were bully victims at school. It's usually best to play upto CID's inflated sense of self importance though.
 
When i was in Butlins/Ford,i noticed at meal times,the blacks would have their own corner. One guy,getting on a bit yet overtly racist sat at a table and was quickly joined by several blacks. The colour from his face drained and he appeared rather worried.Purely done for intimidation.Keep yer opinions a bit more covert eh 'John'.

Regarding violence,i personally never witnessed any in holding nick,though there was a lock down where a guy was stabbed through the hand with a pen. Apparently ,the pen went right the way through,true or not,it wouldn't have surprised me.

Another guy on entering our wing,full of mouth and bravado soon ended up black and blue.Again i never witnessed the beating but saw his pulverised face. I believe he was put on pondlife wing,before being transferred.

I wish they'd bring back the height restrictions. When I was a kid and police came to talk to the school they were giants and you would not dare to not listen. The uniformed prick who gave me a £25 fine for a tiny bit of hash had to look up the way to look me in the eye. I'm no giant, I'm only a little over 5' 9". This prick was deffo an ex bully victim.

I've been interviewed by CID before (I assume they were CID anyway, they weren't in uniform), for the heinous crime of booting a door in because I was a wee half-pished dickhead. Got off with it completely even though I was only about 16 & had actually went & turned myself in (they'd lifted my mate for it & I couldn't let him take the blame for me being an arse). I claimed that I had fell into the door, despite the big dirty footprint where I'd kicked it - they mentioned this, I feigned ignorance & tried to claim that the footprint must have already been there, took the pish out them for a bit & eventually got sent on my way because there was fucking no way I was going to say "Yes, I did kick that door" & they were too fucking clueless to be able to do anything other than let me go.
 
am not really sure what your talking about if it's a drug treatment order (DTO) that's what it's called in Scotland ,am doing a dto a 15 month order.... is this what your talking about doppel


when a was in prison glasgow 1s stuck together and the edinbrugh Ayrshire etc stuck together..but think the prison system in america are a whole different ball game much more tougher than our system a dont doubt that for a min

Fuck that shit lol. I now try my very best to not do anything that could possibly land me in jail. Used to carry a bag full of jail time in my pocket quite regularly, now I try to make sure that if I did get caught with drugs on me there's not enough of them to get me anything worse than a hefty fine.

The carrying mountains of ching etc stopped when I got the proper fear one night. Walking from a 21st bday party to the pub & cops in an unmarked car pulled us over because my dick of a mate was drinking a bottle of beer. I had about 30 individual grams & about the same amount of pills on me, not even close to being hidden (they were just in my inside jacket pocket). Standing there fucking shitting myself as the cops are hassling my mate for drinking on the street, the only thing going through my mind was "If that car door opens, I'm running, fuck it", they would have definitely caught me though. Turned out they were sound & just told him to pour it out & said we'd better hurry if want to catch last orders - totally oblivious to the fact that my heart was pounding out my chest & I was looking around me to see what fence looked the easiest to climb lol. Decided after that night I'd only ever have/carry personal. I'd never survive jail.
 
I spent two weeks in HMP Dorchester once on a civil. I was absolutely crapping myself on the way in and couldn't see myself surviving it. The holding cell in reception was full off dodgy looking dudes though I got chatting to a group of three approachable looking guys which eased the tension a bit. It turned out they were in for beating some guy half to death on a night out.

All that days intake were put in a side wing. I was paired up with a gear head going through serious w/ds. Felt really sorry for the guy. Over the next fey days he put straight on what to expect and how things worked. I couldn't have asked for a better pad mate.

A few days later we were put on the main wing. I was put in with a black guy. To start with we were very wary of each other but it soon turned out that he was mates with my new party crowd though he'd been out of town a little while so after that we got on like a house on fire.

The two weeks passed really quickly though I was starting to get bored with being banged up so much of the day by the end of it. It was more of a holiday compared to what I expected and felt so much better for being drug free for two weeks. It went OK though I wouldn't rush to go back :)
 
Arrested after sparking up and a passing rozzer smelling it, had my room cleaned out, and found with various substances. CID however fucked up the marquis on the 2c-b (heared them talking outside my interview room 'We put the tester on the bags and it turned green, what even is it?' 'Tried running it with the other bags?' 'Yeah same thing'). They also had their new fancy drug testing machine and used my DNA sample to test for drugs instead of sending it off. Got off with a cannabis warning and class c caution

But I was smashed that night and constantly throwing up and suffering dehydration so bad I couldn't walk, still took them 2 fucking hours to get me water though, a whole 125ml of it. Not a nice experience. Got strip searched for not signing my copy of PACE away
 
How common is getting your home searched if you're stopped with personal amounts of drugs? I've had spliffs and little bits of weed taken off me a couple of times but it's never resulted in anything more than embarrassment and having to be polite and 'apologetic' for five minutes.
 
And they always 'throw you in prison'.

I suppose a lot has to do with how you act. If you've got not much on you but are acting sketchy as hell that probably piques their interest.

Never been in nick mesen but that put me in mind of summat that happened at my old hall at uni, some cunt followed this lass back home from town and got let into the block. She got stabbed to death with a fucking biro and ever since that there's been mad security precautions. Housemate told me and I thought he was taking mick til I looked it up on BBC News.

To be honest actually, never know anyone bein in nick really. Knew one lad who'd done ten years for manslaughter after he stabbed a lad that he found molesting his kid, he was full of prison horror stories and to be honest I was a bit wary round him when I met him til I realised despite looking like a hard cunt he was soft as fuck and pretty much just not a fan of paedos which to be fair I don't think any of us are.

What a couple of terrible stories,and 10 FUCKING YEARS,I'M LOST FOR WORDS.I,despite being technically locked up for violence, hate fighting. I warned a creepy little cunt away from my daughter not so long ago.She,s mid -teens now and this slimy fucker about 22. Sorry,but 22 don't go into 15. I won't repeat what i said i'd do to him,but he won't even look me in the eye when i see him around.Not exactly molestation but i swear if anyone done that to my kids......................................................

Paedos are the only fans of paedos. That lad who done ten years deserves a fucking medal.

Spending that amount of time inside you will come across some real hard fuckers and 'orrible cunts and will witness some very unpleasant violence. I was kindly briefed by two lads who had spent many years on and off inside. I thought they were up to something,but they were just being genuinely friendly,well they were up to something,but that was none of my business,i don't mean they were gay either ;)

If anyone who reads this and maybe looking at a short custodial sentence,keep your head down,don't try acting 'hard' and try not to ask too many questions.I realise american jails this would actually be terrible advice. Pick your ethnic group ,make new friends before being butt-raped.

I know a few lads who are basically institusionalised and one actually seems to prefer being inside.I can actually see how one could lead this waste of life,because they lose all fear of prisons and cannot cope with the outside world,they know the game,yet are hardly master criminals. The people i saw and knew passing through holding nick was amusing "OI! *******WHAT THE FUCK YOU IN FOR? "SAME OLD SHIT" . surprise surprise.

Thankfully,i was quite mentally stable at the time of my vacation,but i certainly don't wanna go back.
