Wet? Oily? MDMA crystals?

So i recently got this batch of brown/tan mdma crystals.
They are wet/oily and clump together. Should I leave them to dry or just let them be? Will they degrade if I let them dry? What's the best way to go about this?

What could be the reason they are wet?
Other than that, it's the real deal.
 
Probably just moisture left over from the synthesis, it shouldn't do anything but make your MDMA weigh more. It pretty much just means whoever made this didn't take the extra time to purify/clean it. The only time I've personally seen this, the MDMA was a gross looking brown and was actually cut with TFMPP, but it tested for MDxx none the less... I'm sure that's not the case here though.



Yeah, I would just leave it out in a sunny window to dry, it shouldn't degrade at all, MDMA is very stable
 
Ive been hearing a lot recently about "wet" molly... id like to see some sent to edata... "wetness" sounds pipe'ish to me... try drying ot out.. just leave the bag open for a day... if that doesnt dry it d be highly suspicious of the purity... reagents dont pick up pipes

Why does wetness sound pipe'ish to you? It's more oily than wet, and they are indeed, only crystals, no powder. Tastes like MDMA too. Have not yet tested it though, but around here in europe, there is a shitload of MDMA going around so I don't think people would do shit like that...

But then again...? Who the fuck knows?

How will the piperazines high differ from mdma high? I never had pipes.
 
If taking MDMA is like going to heaven, than piperazines are like getting jerked in between limbo and the deepest layers of hell while you have a splitting headache and are throwing up foam.

They feel toxic as FUCK.



Moisture doesn't indicate piperazine though, especially if it tests for MDxx. Like I said, if you don't clean it right when you're making the product it will retain some of it's moisture... some people are just too lazy to clean it, and others just don't do it because wet MDMA would weigh more, which means more money for them
 
i'd test it if i were you mate, just in case.

the only time i bought stuff that wasn't MDMA, it was BZP or some other pipe. and the thing we noticed first was that it was quite oily, also when we crushed it up it didn't 'crunch' because the crystals were soft, weren't even like crystals really, and became a really fine powder. i flushed mine down the toilet, couple of my mates still did some and all had a shit time.

not saying this is the case with you, but i think this should just give you extra incentive to taste it.

i'm from the UK btw, and every other time i've got legit mandy. but every now and then you can still get fucked over, it's the black market.
 
still give it a wee test anyway, unless you don't have a testing kit and don't have time to buy one.
 
Buy a can of acetone in any hardware store and put it in your freezer. Put your dirty/wet crystalls in a jar and add some ice cold acetone. Shake it. Pour of the Acetone. (Be carefull not to lose any crystalls ;) ). Do it again. Dry you crystalls. ( This shouldn`t take long, because actone evaporates very quickly) With this method you should be able to remove most of the brown impurities and most of the water.
 
Licorice yes, aniseed... well I've heard people say it smells like that, but I'm pretty sure aniseed is closer to anethol, which is used to make PMMA



^ I completely agree that you should do an acetone wash though. The guy who made it should have done that, but I guess he didn't


Make sure to get 99%+ pure acetone though
 
quick question: how does an acetone wash work? does acetone only dissolve mdma or something?
 
Acetone dissolves a very great deal of organic compounds. MDMA HCl is ionic though, and is almost completely insoluble in acetone. So when you do an acetone wash, you dissolve everything else and then pour it through a filter. The impurities (if they were organic compounds, an acetone wash won't remove many adulterants) pour away with the acetone and the MDMA HCl is left on the filter.
 
Easy for you guys to say test it.... I dont have a testing kit and I dont know where to get 99% pure acetone.I am currently at work, I'll put a pic up when I get home.
 
A regular coffee filter will get the job done. There's a particular kind of filter paper used in labs, its a little thicker than a coffee filter but is used with vacuum suction so that the solutions are still pulled through.
