Both are easy to do, but it's probably easier to roll your own, I'd mix it with cannabis not nicotine but that's just me

Here where I live some dealers are lacing heroin in maijuana and selling it to teens. Lots of them are getting hooked.

I highly doubt that... Why would they waste their heroin and it's $ worth by selling it as laced marijuana to teens, no less.
Just roll it up and lace it as you normally would when adding hash and keif to a joint... space it out right.

Not going to look up the exact numbers right now, but my reference had bioavailability of smoking H in a cig at about 14%, compared to somewhere around 30% for chasing. You're gonna lose a lot to pyrolysis.
Anecdotally, the only person I've ever met who's done this said they barely got any effect from it (they are an opiate naive/averse person fwiw).

I would highly doubt that, for a few reasons. 1) Dope is way more expensive than green, it just isn't economically viable; 2) The amount of green they'd have to smoke to be getting enough heroin into their bodies to get addicted to it (considering there couldn't be very much H on their buds and even then they'd be getting next to no active chemical into their bodies) would be phenomenal, not to mention the frequency with which they'd have to be smoking it; 3) Even if somehow they did get hooked, they wouldn't know that they were addicted to heroin so they wouldn't immediately come back to the dealer and ask for some.

You can doubt it all you want but the links below are just 2 that say exactly that. Dealers are lacing marijuana with heroin in the hopes that they can get them hooked. The first link is from the Charlotte Observer newspaper and the second is from the Union County Public Schools System (Union County is next to Charlotte in North Carolina) There are other references as well but I don't have the ambition to look for them right now.

Well, just because a newspaper reports something doesn't necessarily make it true. Just like linking to Wikipedia for a source probably won't satisfy most people. You tend to see/hear a lot of tripe in the media surrounding drugs, the skill is in figuring fact from fiction, exaggeration from complete bullshit.

Yeah, I'm still completely convinced it's a bogus rumour. And the school site is just quoting the newspaper (see their "sources" list at the bottom), which doesn't provide any sort of reliable information (such as test results of actual cannabis being sold as solely cannabis that has tested positive for heroin).
