paxil,anxietty & mdma

story is i been dealing with severe anxietty for over a year,it was really bad 8 months back,now its been alot more under controll.been taking paxil 10mg every day for past year.what i want to know is DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE BAD ANXIETTY TAKING THE SAME MEDICATION,SAME DOSE?. AND IF PURE MDMA CAUSES ANXIETTY WHILE ROLLING?? ALSO READ SSRI's KILL THE THE HIGH OF MDMA? over all am i safe to take mollys? without worrying,or having a panic attack and is it worth it being that im on my meds? thanks!
 
you should be careful taking mdma if you have depression or anxiety, it has the chance to make it worse unless taken in a therapeutic setting

the thing about ssris is that they will block you from rolling. the ssri gets into the serotonin transport protein and prevents the mdma from entering. technically its safe, you wont roll. it will just be stimulating from the dopamine and norepinepherine release.

if you were taking an maoi, thatd be a completely different story.

tl;dr - you wont roll while taking paxil, dont bother wasting mdma. save it for if/when you stop the meds

no. mdma + maoi = serotonin syndrome
mdma + ssri = no roll

the ssris have a much higher binding affinity for SERT, effectively blocking mdma from releasing any serotonin at all

people have been taking prozac during rolls to block neurotoxicity for years. cocaine is a serotonin reuptake inhibitor. both will prevent a roll if you take them too soon after taking mdma
